We welcome you on our journey to becoming more fluent in te reo Maori over the coming years.
We will always provide English translations for you, we hope you enjoy learning with us, and while we may not always get it right - we will continuously strive to be better, please bear with us.

Doors will open, and you’ll have time to come in, set up camp for the day, and get the young athletes weighed in.

?? Weigh In: Weigh-ins for nga tamariki (the kids) start at 7am (whitu karaka).
If you’re an adult (pakeke), you’ve got a bit more time to rest—your weigh-ins are two (rua) hours before your first fight, normally adult weigh in begin from 10am.

?? No Last-Minute Changes: Kaore e ahei te huri me te tini i to rehitatanga i te ra o te whakataetae: No last-minute switches will be allowed on the day of the event.

?? Late Registrations: Registration closes 5 days before the tournament starts.
You can now register for events up to 11 months in advance.
Late entries won’t be accepted— ko ta tatou whainga kia noho harihari, hei whanau kotahi (we’re all about keeping good vibes).

?? Weight Division Change: If you want to change your weight division after registrations close, there will be a $50 manual processing fee.
The best approach is to get it right the first time. Kia mahara (Keep this in mind).
You can change your division for free online until registration closes.

Spectators: $15 mo nga pakeke (adults)
$5 mo nga tamariki (kids)
and free entry for tamariki under 5.
