Star Brazilian Jiu Jitsu -- Carrollton, Texas
Otomi is a three-person team grappling tournament. One athlete from each team competes at a time. The winner stays on the mat, and the opposing team sends in their next athlete. The team that eliminates their opponent's full lineup advances to the next round.
This is not just three teammates competing in their own brackets. Each teammate's results directly impact their entire team; order, strengths, fatigue, strategy, and style matchups all matter.

Cost: $65 per person per division; $85 for late registrations. You are allowed to enter multiple divisions.
Format: No Gi, Sub-only, Teams
Gi: If at least two teams in any division are interested, there will be a gi division. Message on IG, email us, or fill out THIS FORM.
Open Divisions: All belt levels, 555 lbs combined team bodyweight.
Women's Divisions: All belt levels, 450 lbs combined team bodyweight

If at least two teams in any division are interested, there will be a Gi division. Interested teams are asked to message on Instagram, email the organizers, or fill out the linked form.
Can I compete if I do not have a full team?
Competitors who need one or two teammates can visit the Find a Team or Teammate page or fill out the linked form. Individual matches are also listed for those who want a 1-on-1 match or cannot find a team; message the organizers for more details.
What is required for a team to be fully registered?
All three athletes should register on Smoothcomp under the same team name. A team is not fully registered until payment is completed by the deadline.
