IMPORTANT | TWO REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED

To compete in BJJ at the New Zealand Masters Games 2027, every athlete must complete both registration processes:

1. NEW ZEALAND MASTERS GAMES REGISTRATION

Complete the official NZ Masters Games registration and pay the applicable Masters Games Entry Fee through their registration system.

2. NZBJJF / SMOOTHCOMP REGISTRATION

Complete the BJJ registration through NZBJJF SmoothComp and pay the applicable BJJ Sport/Competition Fee.

Both registrations and payments are mandatory.

Registration through only one system is not sufficient. Athletes whose registration cannot be validated in both systems will not be authorised to compete.

This system allows the New Zealand Masters Games to manage participation in the wider Games while NZBJJF manages the BJJ-specific requirements, including age, belt, gender, weight, Gi/No-Gi divisions, brackets and results.
