All coaches must be a member of a martial arts club, 14 years of age or older, Green belt or higher rank and be wearing club uniform. Only one coach/ competitor permitted per ring at any time.

All officials must be a member of a martial arts club. Under black officials must be 14 years or older and blue belt or higher rank and cannot judge athletes of higher age or rank. Black Belt officials must be an SMAA level 3 or higher to be center judge
