My son Ryan aged 10 joined Leigh & Westhoughton Jujitsu club around 2 months ago, every week since you can see him grow in self confidence & is developing his technique. Sensai Luke who is the instructor makes the session enjoyable, knowledgeable & friendly but with a strict emphasis on what Jujitsu is about & to remain respectful. Every week Ryan comes away that bit more self belief & pride in himself which is great to see, he can't wait to do his first grading.
I cant speak highly enough of Leigh and westhoughton Jujitsu club. My daughter started training when she was 8, she is now 12 and a blue belt and has gained so much self confidence since she joined , she enjoys every training session and Luke and Katherine are such amazing people and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have both helped my daughter massively to be a confident young girl who now knows lots of self defence skills which is a great thing to have in life. I would recommend any parent to take their child down there to see Luke and the team to see how great it is for their child to gain such important self defence skills. Thanks again for all your help for the past four years.
I was looking to get fit and lose some weight and Googled "martial arts near me" and found leigh and westhoughton ju jitsu. I attended the free trail class which was offered and gave it a go, after 1 class I'm now fully signed up and loving training. The atmosphere is brilliant and the other students are welcoming and ready to help new students in training, the instructor is patient and very knowledgeable but the thing that hooked me the mostwis the martial art itself. From day one I was taught skills such as hip throws and arm locks which were amazing to learn and since then I've learned more and I'm currently aiming for next belt. I'd strongly suggest giving it a try and finding out how good it is for yourself
Great tuition. All members made to feel comfortable no matter what level of skill they are starting at. Been training here a while now such a great group of people everyone is willing to help. Sensai always has time for individual questions and demonstrations. Well done LWJJC!
