We honestly couldn’t be happier with React BJJ. Since joining, my son’s confidence has grown massively—not just in himself, but across other sports and areas of his life too. It’s been amazing to see how much more self-assured and resilient he’s become. The coaching is fantastic, and the environment is really supportive and encouraging, Without a doubt, enrolling him here is one of the best things we’ve ever done.

I joined React after driving past a few times and trying to drum up the courage to give it a go. 4 months later and it’s been one of the best things I’ve done. I’m learning a new skill and feeling more confident each week. Professor Ian has fostered an amazing environment of learning and the people I get to train with are all brilliant. I’m not typically a sociable person, buts it’s been hard to avoid building positive relationships with people at React. If you’re unsure, or lacking the confidence to give it a try… just go for it! Thanks Professor Ian! James

Great gym! I came and dropped in whilst my little boy was at football training. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Lots of really good coloured belts. Great instruction from head coach Ian was great broke down technique really well. What a space, large mat space, super clean, even has a shop, weights. Everything you need. The people of Horwich are lucky to have something so good on their door step. Super impressive place. If you’re thinking about starting BJJ and you live in this part of Bolton you should 100% go and check it out.

I’ve trained here for over two years and the community that the professor has built is amazing. I’ve always tried to find way to help and control my anxiety and this place is it! My brain shuts off all other noise when I’m on the mat! The team is a massive part of that. It was daunting when I first thought about going but as soon as I stepped on the mat I felt at home. I had never previously done any form of martial art and was a complete novice but with the professor’s tutorial and the teams support I’m finding my way. I recommend it to anyone experienced and novice alike!

I started training at React about a year ago and time has just flown by. The team is amazing and really friendly, there’s a lovely community spirit and everyone is always keen to help in or outside the gym. Professor Ian is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and he offers classes for all levels. I started as a complete beginner and now I’m looking to do my first competition, this wouldn’t have been possible without him and the React team. If anyone wants to start training BJJ, React is the place to go!

What an absolutely amazing and fantastic place to learn Jiu-jitsu! Only been here a matter of weeks and have been made to feel more welcome than I could ever have imagined. You are immediately treated like family and you soon feel like you've been here for years. Professor Ian and the coaches are so knowledgeable and are outstanding teachers with exceptional determination to help us all progress significantly! 😁I honestly cannot recommend React enough and strongly encourage anyone who's hesitant to come and give it a try, you won't regret it!👍

I started at Reactbjj around 18 months ago. I was immediately welcomed to the team and made to feel like I was part of a family. Professor Ian, is not only an expert and highly knowledgeable in bjj but he is also a great person, who really takes his time to get to know his students and i cannot thank him enough for his support. Since joining 18 months ago, I have lost around 8 stone and I feel better both mentally and physically. The kids classes look awesome too! All the kids seem to absolutely love it, so as soon as my little one is old enough, he will be joining the kids classes!
