My son comes to The MMA Academy regularly to cross train as we are based in another city. He absolutely loves it here, the staff and members are all so friendly, welcoming and so, so helpful. Whether it’s BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai or anything Mixed Martial Arts - The MMA Academy will have you covered. If we lived in Liverpool The MMA Academy would be my son’s first choice to join and he’s already counting down the days to come back.

I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. This is an amazing gym, friendly staff that ask you the right questions and help you get into the right program. On my orientation day, Have gave me a breakdown of the programs in a most detailed manner. Lucas has been my coach for a while and he is super confident, encouraging and has amazing attention to detail. All team members and coaches are also respectful, never making fun of the amateur in the room (me). Always giving words of encouragement and tips to improve whenever they can. Even in a class of 10 or more, every single person gets the right amount of attention to improve form and technique. Being very new to martial arts training, I have seen amazing improvements that has helped me build confidence and assures me that I am in the right place. MMA academy is also super equipped and the most hygienic place. They maintain cleanliness at all times. They also have a Sauna that gets pretty hot for muscle recovery. On top of all of this, they have an easy to use site where you can make payments, book in classes etc. I initially thought it was going to be a messy app but it hasn't failed me yet. If you are reading this, I assure you I am not a review bot. I am a real person who is just giving credit to the amazing place that MMA Academy truly is. Come see for yourself.

My son attends MMA Academy and has done for 3 years. He loves his time spent at the gym. The coaches are excellent and have a huge amount of experience and knowledge of BJJ. They are a great support to all the boys who train and compete. Great atmosphere around the gym and always very welcoming
