Brilliant gym. A hard work pays off ethos instilled by the coaches. My son has really benefited from joining.

Training Muay Thai, Boxing, and BJJ at Shaolin Tigers in Reading has been an incredible experience. The sessions are super intense, and the coaches bring an elite level of knowledge to every single class. It’s everything a proper martial arts gym should be—strict, disciplined, high-energy, and completely professional. Unbeatable value for money given the high standard of coaching. Shaolin Tigers is easily a world-class academy and a huge asset to the Reading combat sports scene!

Joined this gym about 2 months ago. The only gym I managed to find that does morning classes. Very friendly staff with great atmosphere and a lot of knowledge and experience. Definitely going to recommend to my friends. Don't need to go abroad for best muay thai experience because STMA has a well known coach from Thailand to teach muay thai. I only regret that I didn't join this gym earlier. You won't find any better gym. I'm going to sign up my kid soon as well as there are plenty kids classes.

Only gym in Reading that offers Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA and BJJ with an actual cage. When i moved to Reading i didnt know anyone but since I joined STMA I feel like I have joined a club which is very inviting for everyone. Anyone who joins will feel welcomed from day one! Great place to learn martial arts and compete with great coaches. Thanks to the team at STMA keep up the good work.

Really pleased we found this place! My daughter has been going to the Muay Thai classes regularly for about a month now and she loves it - always comes out buzzing. Dan and the other instructors are amazing. They keep the classes fun and engaging but they're not too soft either :) The kids seem to respect them too, which is so nice to see. The gym itself is impressive, it's been done out to a high standard and there's a boxing ring, a spectators area and even a CAGE upstairs (not something you see every day!) Loads of equipment. Loads of classes. Loads of 'Oossing'. Positive vibes. The short version: Get a membership.
