My son training here nearly 3 years. Excellent result. Highly recommended.

All 3 of my sons and myself have trained under Coach Denzel. He knows how to mentor his students and get the best out of them. A true professional in the world of freestyle wrestling.
I spent an intense week training with the team at New Sparta and with Coach Denzel, and it was an incredible experience. From day one, everyone was warm, welcoming, and clearly committed to improving together in every class. Denzel is an excellent coach-he explains techniques clearly, breaks things down in a way that's easy to understand, and always takes the time to answer questions. I learned a huge amount during my time there and left with plenty of new knowledge and techniques to take back and work on at my own gym. I can't recommend this gym highly enough. Not only will you develop your skills, but you'll also meet great people and build genuine connections along the way. I look forward to training with these lot again!
Very good club! My 11y old is attending wrestling class for over a year now after we tried various martial arts clubs in Reading! Very friendly environment and the coaches are at the highest level. Many thanks to Denzel for allowing us to be part of the team!
Very welcoming atmosphere with great martial arts practitioners as teachers. Great group to choose if your kids want to learn the fundamentals of wrestling whilst building resilience or if you yourself are interested in trying out.
The coaching staff at New Sparta is exceptional. They are not only highly knowledgeable about wrestling techniques and strategies, but they also genuinely care about the growth and development of each and every wrestler. They provide personalized attention and guidance, helping athletes reach their full potential.
