I can’t say enough about how welcoming and friendly this gym and coach Getty are! From the moment I walked through the door, the staff and members made me feel right at home. The instructors are incredibly approachable, taking the time to explain techniques with patience and enthusiasm, no matter your skill level. The community here is like a family—everyone is supportive, encouraging, and eager to help newcomers settle in. The positive vibe creates an environment where you feel confident to learn and grow in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, Horsemen BJJ’s warm and inclusive atmosphere makes every class a joy. Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a friendly place to train!

My son has been a member of a different gym for several years. We recently moved to the Shrewsbury area and while he doesn't want to leave his gym or group of friends, he has done several drop in classes at Horseman. I can't say enough good things. He has really enjoyed his time there. The staff and members are very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend!

All of them are not only an incredible instructors but also fantastic role models. Their passion for jiu jitsu and commitment to each student truly shines through in every class.
