This place is my home away from home. The coaches and the other players have become family. I’ve trained at a couple jujutsu schools around York county and this by far has the healthiest environment. Beyond that they have an excellent kids program and are constantly changing things up incorporating new ideas, new programs, and activities. Highly recommended, don’t walk run to get some of the action!!!
Posted 5 months agoIf you’re new to the sport or you’re looking for a place to train I’d recommend coming here. I came in with zero grappling experience expecting to get smashed, but all of the students turn down the intensity to match my level while still challenging me. The coaches do a very good job explaining what we’re working on letting us know why it will or won’t work and when to use it. This is the perfect place to come train if you’re looking for a friendly and clean environment where you can look forward to getting some work in.
Posted 6 months agoI’ve trained a few places over the years. The culture in this gym is the best I’ve ever been a part of. The instructors are knowledgeable, talented, and friendly. The gym offers various classes to round out a self defense program or for someone looking to compete in various combat sports. They have a wonderful kids program with a ton of participation. This is the place to be in York!
Posted 7 months agoI recently left and a bjj gym after many years and started at this school. The coaches have been fantastic. It is a welcoming environment and a great place to come to or start your jiu jitsu journey. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try jiu jitsu.
Posted 7 months agoDropped in for a holiday open mat. Super clean school- a ton of mat space (the good Fuji mats too, not any Amazon cheap mats), a sloped wall, ample storage space and two bathrooms. Everyone was very accommodating and easy going, super friendly to someone they never met before. No need to bow to any Helio pictures when getting on the mat either. Will absolutely be going back to check out their classes!
