Some days may be more fast paced than others,but your peers are there to help. You just have to jump in it and learn. The goal here is progression and having a flexible schedule in multiple locations to do so is a plus. Try their 2 week trial if you’re unsure which gives you access to your own free gi and belt for only $59.00. Add a family member and they are discounted at 50% once enrolled in a longer contract at monthly rate.

Incredible gym, so much space. Everyone was so welcoming and so kind. They have such nice vibes, their bjj is rocking & can’t wait to fight again with these awesome people!

I live in NJ but spent a summer training at York BJJ and have dropped in on a class or two since then whenever I'm in the area. Really fantastic school, very positive and welcoming community with detailed instruction and good rolls!
Stopped by while traveling for work for a No Gi class. Friendly group, lots of mat space, and high level instruction. Learned some new entries into leg entanglements that I hadn’t seen before. Will definitely stop by again when I’m in town.
Fantastic Gym. Classes every day for BJJ. The Kids classes are wonderful for my children 5 and 8. This gym is like family, very welcoming, friendly to beginners, and still a challenge everyday. Kickboxing classes are great as well.
I recently attended a BJJ and judo class taught by David Brogan in Pennsylvania, and it was an enriching experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, with a diverse group of practitioners ranging from beginners to advanced students. The instructor was knowledgeable and emphasized the fundamentals, ensuring everyone understood the techniques before moving on. The combination of BJJ and judo provided a unique perspective on grappling, blending throws and ground techniques seamlessly. I appreciated the structured warm-up and drills, which helped build a solid foundation for the sparring sessions. The sparring was competitive yet respectful, allowing everyone to learn from each other. Overall, it was a fantastic class that deepened my appreciation for both arts. I left feeling motivated and eager to return.

With multiple instructors and a schedule with classes every day of the week, this is an awesome place to train. Our whole family trains here and it’s nice to have the kids classes going at the same time as the adults class. This allows you to manage your busy schedules and still get everybody involved. The instructors are top notch and each have different styles and personalities. Also, so many students enrolled that you’re sure to find plenty of different rolling training partners.

I always wanted to try out practical partial arts for self defense. Decided to give their two week trial a shot (it came with a free Gi to get started). After being man-handled over and over by someone half my size, I decided to stick with training because clearly it works. It was a great decision. It’s practical (from a self-defense perspective), it’s hard work from a fitness perspective. It’s challenging and stimulating mentally.
I have been training here for 10 years. This is the best martial arts school in the entire area. The people who train here are like a family.
I got into BJJ after a rugby injury left me wondering if I would ever walk right again. A few months into my recovery, I joined 3G BJJ school to learn an art form and build strength back. I fell in love with the sport immediately and 3 years laters I get just as excited as my first day! Best instructors around, friendliest group of grapplers you’ll ever meet, and the most awesome experience you’ll ever have.
Instructors are amazing. They are very knowledgeable and know how to teach concepts that work for people who are new and experienced. 10/10 school.
I stopped into York BJJ LLC while visiting my wife’s family in PA. I’ve been rolling for a year in New Jersey and was excited to do my first official “pop in” at another gym. Instructor Dave Brogan was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I participated in a Judo and Jiu Jitsu class and had a fantastic time. There are a large variety of belts practicing there from all experience levels. The techniques and drills were detailed and they provided us plenty of time to rep them. The rolls at the end were challenging, friendly, and extremely fun. I will definitely be returning any time I’m in the area. I highly recommend York BJJ LLC.
I’m a visiting blue belt and I had the pleasure of hopping in on Dave’s class. I was pleasantly surprised with a dedicated Judo curriculum which was very informative. The class size was strong for a random Tuesday night with plenty of upper belts to roll with. I definitely would train here if I lived in the area. They have multiple locations and AM and PM options for ease of access!
This is a good place for anyone wanting to learn BJJ/MMA . Wholesome atmosphere and classy members and elite knowledgeable instructors. The vibe is very warm welcoming all around...highly recommended!! Looking forward to going back again! 👍😊

Visited this York bjj on a vacation in York. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Great gi class and even better rolls afterwards if your in or around York pa and want to train this is the place!
York BJJ is the place to train!!! The entire team was very welcoming to a couple of out of towners in York on a business trip. David is top-shelf; very knowledgeable, understanding, and patient. This will be the only place I will train at when I’m in town.

Trained here for the first time this evening and it was amazing. Great class and great team. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which was awesome. If you live in the York area you should be training here. If your traveling through the area and want a great place to train, this is your place 100%. Looking forward to coming back for sure.
I don't leave reviews often, but York BJJ is a worthy exception. All of the instructors here are excellent. Classes in gi BJJ, no-gi BJJ, and judo are all superb. The environment is very welcoming, and I've learned a ton since I began coming here. No matter what level of experience you're at, York BJJ is the place to go!
My son decided he would like to learn martial arts. He is really enjoying judo. I thought I would also. I'm enjoying bjj. Great exercise. Great instructors both adults and for the kids. Everyone is willing to help you and show you technique. Really great atmosphere
It's a great place to learn and gives you the opportunity to practice with great people as well. I highly recommend it for anyone who has any kind of interest in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Absolutely a great place for the whole family to learn Brazilian Jui Jitsu and Judo. Great self defence classes. My son has been going for two years and has over come a lot emotional and social set backs he had. He has also been learning proper ways of defense, self control, and how not to be a bully but to be a friend. Love how they have classes for the whole family!!

This is a great place to train. There is a variety of people with different levels of experience but everyone is friendly and welcoming. The instructors are knowledgeable and interactive with everyone. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you have an interest in self defense and exercise for anyone in the family.

I happened to be in town for vacation and wanted to get some mat time in, so I dropped in for a class at York BJJ. The facilities are inside a fitness center, so there are locker rooms and showers available. Everyone in class was friendly and helpful, and I felt welcomed as a guest. After warmups we did some judo and half guard drills. Once rolling came around we got a few good rounds in. I got to go a round with Coach Dave, after which he imparted some good advice on areas for me to focus on--advice I'm always happy to get. Overall I had a good time, and I appreciate York BJJ for having me.
While I haven't visited this particular location, I can say that I have worked with Coach Tom and others there off and on for many years. Coach Tom is extremely personable, polite, funny and knowledgeable about the arts and has been training nearly as long as I have. Other coaches like Todd, Rosia and Eric are pretty solid as well and passionate about helping others.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a great way to get in shape and to learn the most practical self defense, signing up at York bjj is an easy way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone! York bjj has a very knowledgeable set of instructors that always make learning fun and make the team feel like family. I HIGHLY recommend joining!
A fun environment with instructors that have years of knlowledge and experience. Everyone is inviting and it’s fun. I’m only my second class in. I enjoy it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for fun, fitness and self defense. You won’t be disappointed.
Very friendly , open, informative , the instructor was very in to making sure each individuals needs were being met and focused on them with genuine attention , this is a very good outfit and I learned a lot in just one lesson, I plan on doing some more classes and seeing what this is about! This is not some cookie cutter class that is watered down or dull, this is a very good small safe environment to really learn some life saving techniques and learn the type of discipline to be successful in life

If I could put zero stars, I would My son used to love training here in the kids class, but they recently kicked out our favorite black belt who really helped train the kids. And now they’re trying to silence us on Facebook and they won’t let anybody talk about it. It’s absolutely absurd. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
