I recently visited Hanover BJJ as an out-of-town guest, and I was impressed by how welcoming and positive the environment was. I appreciated their approachable vibe and the chance to roll with a skilled group—everyone was friendly, respectful, and eager to share tips. The instructors are highly skilled with precise technique instruction, and they made me feel right at home from the start. It’s great to find a gym that balances high-level training with such a supportive, family-like atmosphere - especially when traveling. If you’re coming through or looking for a new spot, Hanover BJJ is a must-visit. Can’t wait to drop in again next time I’m in the area! 👊

I dropped in for an open mat and I had a great time. The rolls were tough, the people were friendly, and the entire atmosphere was positive and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone that lives in the Hanover area or is planning to visit. I will definitely be back. Also I'm a black belt if that makes a difference.

Hanover BJJ is such a supportive place to learn. It’s like how high school should have been; you’re accepted immediately because you decided to challenge yourself. A few months of jiu jitsu and my life was never the same again. Not only is it my favorite thing to do these are the best mentors I could have asked for.

Been going here for around 5 months now. Really great gym with extremely knowledgeable instructors. This place is great for beginners or former wrestlers like myself looking to get back in shape and wrestle again. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get into jiu jitsu, everyone is friendly and very welcoming. I definitely found my new home lol.

Dropped in from KY while in the area for work. Everybody was awesome when I dropped in. Treated me as if I was one of their own. The instruction was quality on all levels and the rolls were solid. No egos, just a group of individuals helping and pushing each other. Highly recommend if you are dropping in or looking for a gym to call home.
