Dropped in from out of town and had an awesome experience at this gym. I reached out about dropping into a class and they got back to me super fast. They were incredibly friendly and even gave me suggestions on places to eat and things to do in town. The class itself was great — really solid instruction and a very welcoming vibe. Logan (the owner) and Matt were both excellent, and you can tell they’ve built a great culture there. Rolling was technical, safe, and challenging in the best way. If you live in the Westminster, MD area and are thinking about starting jiu jitsu — or if you’re just passing through — I highly recommend stopping in. Super welcoming group and I’d absolutely train there again if I’m back in town.

150 Grappling offers an ideal environment for training and learning jiu-jitsu, for those of any experience level and age. The instruction you receive is top tier, with a curriculum that meets the needs of both the movie and the experienced grappler alike. What makes 150 Grappling special, though, is the community of its members. We have an eclectic group of all age ranges, folks from different backgrounds, all looking for that something special that jiu-jitsu provides to each individual. I couldn't think of training anywhere else...period.

Curriculum The coaches at 150 Grappling follow a carefully designed, predetermined curriculum. Warm-ups are jiu jitsu focused and useful in practice. 150 enhances jiu jitsu lessons with high level wrestling skills. Classes Classes are offered in gi and no-gi. Jiu Jitsu is usually available seven days a week with times suited to various personal schedules. The training area features padded mats that allow for safe sweep and takedown drills. Cleanliness Mats are cleaned and sanitized after training sessions; deep cleaning is also accomplished periodically. Practitioners adhere to strict sanitary practices when entering and exiting the training area. Expect a very clean training environment.

Joining 150 has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Logan and Matt are amazing teachers and I have been able to learn so much from them. Great atmosphere, great jiu jitsu, and so much fun!

I have been a member of 150 Grappling for one year now. I had never tried martial arts before joining and I could not be happier with my experience at 150 Grappling. Everyone has been super welcoming, helpful and patient with me. I love the class structure and their attention to detail. Logan and Matt are amazing and make it clear that they are eager for everyone to improve their skills because it makes everyone else better too. The mats are nice and they keep everything very clean. I could not imagine myself anywhere else. I can't wait to see what year 2 brings for me. Hugs and chokes mostly I guess.
