Global Martial Arts & Fitness has been amazing! Master Borucki and his instructors have helped my son find his coordination, strength and discipline. They are knowledgeable and take time with each student to ensure they are proficient at each skill level.
I took 6wks kick boxing challenge here. That program was awesome. I lost around 10lbs. Currently, I takes adult martial art class. So far so good, I have improved my self-defense and kicking skills. Instructors are always kindness and answer any questions/concerns.
Both my kids (6 and 10) in children and youth martial classes as well. They love it and enjoy. Instructors do not only teach them how to protect themselves and other s but also teach them how to be a good person. They loved to break boards every time in belt test :).

My son (now 6) has been in the Global Martial Arts program since he was 3 and it has been a great experience. The instructors are home grown through the program and are wonderful with the kids in the classes. The instructors provide great instruction as well as meaningful life lessons. They reward the kids for doing well in school, reading, and displaying self-discipline. We are very happy to be involved in the Global Martial Arts community. Highly recommend.
I started my son at Global shortly after he turned 4, in hopes that he would learn self-discipline and respect. It’s been 2 1/2 years and it has worked wonders. His coordination has greatly improved and his behavior both at home and school is night and day. If you want your child to be the best they can be, Global is a great start.
My son has been attending for 3 months now. The instructors there are so amazing with children of every age. It's a talent that not all instructors have. They all have it. It's worth the cost and worth the changes and confidence it builds in my son. Thank you!
My children learned alot from this martial arts. They learn different defenses skills and how to protect them self from different strikes. We have been here for 2 years and they love it. The goal that they set for them self is black belt and to keep going. My daughter helps with the little dragons and youth class.she loves to help other kids. I like that my kids love going and it helps with respect and teaching them to work with different belts.
I retract everything I said, it was a miscommunications and if you read what I said he is the opposite of what I said. He is exactly what I think exemplifies of a martial artist and because of his actions I am going to go out my way, every day and take time out to tell everyone this place is a true family and believes everything they teach. I want to say sorry for doubting it.

So like I do every year, on January 1st I decided that I really needed to lose some weight. Well this time I actually stuck to it! I drastically changed my eating habits and when My beautiful wife Jackie showed me a Facebook ad for Global Kickfit I jumped on it. So as of today I am down 127 lbs! I feel better, I work better, I play better. I couldn't have made it this far without the support of my family and friends, but most importantly not without my wonderful wife. The coaches at global really helped get me on track with nutrition and exercise. Big thanks to Holly, Kerry, Amanda, Jessica and Shelby for whooping me into shape. I have a ways to go but I'm a hell of a lot closer to being where I want!
I just finished my 6 week challenge and absolutely loved the classes and got the kick I needed to start getting back into shape. Not only did I lose a good chunk of weight that I couldn't get ride of on my own, but I also have more energy to play with my 3 year old after work! The instructors are awesome and super encouraging too. seriously though, this was the most FUN I've ever had while working out. 🙌🏻 🙌🏻 🙌🏻
I just completed a 6 week challenge and lost 27 lbs this is a great place to do kickboxing where there is no judgement and very helpfully instructors I would recommend anyone to go here and give it a try!

The 6 week boot camp kickboxing challenge at Global was awesome. I felt encouraged to tackle a new challenge with an effort I have rarely been able to maintain. With newborn twins going to class was often the few times I left the house throughout the week and I looked forward to it each time. The instructors are motivating, encouraging, and knowledgeable. The community of classmates are friendly and encouraging, and I totally enjoyed each class I have attended. If you’re looking for a way to mix up your fitness routine, or a way to challenge yourself and have fun at the same time, check them out, you’ll be happy you did!
I started going to Global Martial Arts Academy as part of the 6 week Global Kickfit challenge. The instructors give just the right amount of push while still offering options for those that are lower down on the fitness ladder like myself. Workouts are intense but making it through each one really feels like an accomplishment. All of the instructors and classmates have been very supportive. It's been a great community to grow to be a part of.
Now that I've hit week 6, my energy levels have increased so much that I'm starting to miss attending class on the days I can't go. If you follow the program, you will succeed! I would have loved to do something like this sooner but could never afford it. The 6 week challenge opened the door for me and fortunately my circumstances have improved and moving forward I'm making room in my budget to keep going!
I took kickboxing classes here. Classes are fun and a great workout. The instructors are awesome and friendly. There is no judgement here. People of all shapes and sizes can work out stress free. It's very much a family like atmosphere. You will learn real kickboxing and work on the bags. This isn't like those jazzercise-style pretend kickboxing workouts that are out there. I lost over 25lbs in 6 weeks. Definitely recommend!
6 weeks ago I weighed in at 396.8 lbs. I turned 41years old in the middle of our challenge. I'm a manager at a McDonald's so I don't always have the best schedule. I'm always on my feet and you can imagine they hurt by the end of the day. My back was always hurting and it seemed I never had any energy to finish my day!
Look I had all the excuses! But I decided that I would give this challenge a try! Thought it would be hard but it was something I had to do for me! It took lots of planning getting fo the classes, meal planning ( remember I manage a McDonald's), and sleep!
This challenge worked me! I had a goal and I was going to reach hell or high water! I had alot of help from all the coaches, my wife, and my children! After the 6 weeks I reached my goal and passed it I was down 30lbs! My body fat percentage is down over 10%! This was great I feel so much better. I have energy. And i have the determination to keep on going!

I’ve wanted to do martial arts since I was a kid. I also wanted more physical activity and I knew a class would hold me to it. In addition I wanted to work on my confidence in the workplace and in life.
I ultimately chose GMAA after trying some other classes. GMAA is very professional and that’s what I want in a martial arts school. I want authenticity in tradition and philosophy. That’s the difference to me between just learning some kicks and feeling a part of something larger, a whole history. I knew that I wanted the real deal. I’m happy to say GMAA has provided that.
The first thing I noticed was how welcoming everyone has been. That is huge because it was really difficult to walk through the door to start with. I didn’t have any clue what I was getting into, but having everyone be so encouraging was really a relief. I also like that the classes are serious but also fun. If I just felt like I was going to boot camp every night I wouldn’t have stayed. I like that the classes follow tradition but are also relaxed and enjoyable. I have fun every night and I think that’s important, especially after working all day. It’s a great stress relief and I look forward to coming to class. I highly recommend Global Martial Arts Academy if you’re looking for a great experience.
In the short time since starting at the Westminster school, I've learned a lot more about patience, discipline, and self control. I started the Hap Ki Do program to learn about self defense, and I've been granted a fraction of that knowledge and I'm excited to continue on!! In addition, the instructors are personabe and helpful beyond what I imagined; I've never felt so welcomed in a new environment. I highly recommend this school to anyone curious about Hap Ki Do.
I've been going to Global Martial Arts Academy for the Kickfit class. This is an amazing workout. I needed to be part of a class to achieve the level of exercise I needed. I am not in shape unless you would consider round a shape. I am in my late 40's and not a tiny little 20 something. I'm not going to lie I can't do everything in the class mostly because of a partial knee replacement I had done 6 months ago. The good thing is all the instructors give you options. They always say if you can't do this, you can do this. The instructors are always energetic, encouraging, and truly want to help you achieve your success. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone to try this class. In the first picture I am in the blue shirt and in the second picture I am in the bright yellow shirt on the bottom.
Global Martial Arts Academy is a fantastic school. Our daughter has been attending classes for a little more than an year and has learned so much and gained tremendous confidence. Even in group classes, the instructors provide individual attention to the kids. Mr. Conrad, Ms. Jessica and the entire team at Global are awesome!
Conrad has done wonders for our son. He has increased his self discipline and attention as gotten so much better. We appreciate the attention to detail that Conrad and Jess show to every student. I would not go anywhere else.

We could not be happier with our experience at Global Martial Arts. The instruction is phenomenal. The classes are the perfect combination of serious focus, training and discipline and a lot of fun. Our child has become stronger with improved agility and better balance and reflexes which have crossed over to her other sports in very positive ways. She also has shown increased levels of confidence in all situations and has become much more responsible and mature in her behavior at home. We LOVE Global!
It is very nice. I have a lot of fun there learning with my friends. My instructors are very very kind to me. They help me when I am confused and we play games that are fun.

Global Martial Arts Academy is the best after school program out there. The instructors are well trained and are great role models. The environment is very positive. Your kids will learn precise self defense moves while having a lot of fun. Their confidence will build and they will develop a greater awareness of respect for themselves and others. My kids have been going there for 9 years now. I highly recommend it! Your kids will love it!!
I truly enjoyed training at Global, especially considering I wasn't the age of the typical student and started training later in life. I have reflected on many occasions how much my training has changed my life-for the better! Highly recommend… :-)
We interviewed several schools before deciding on Global Martial Arts Academy in Hampstead. Like most parents, we had specific goals for our two sons. Joe Borucki, owner and master instructor, spent as much time asking about our goals as we did asking about their approach to instruction. Like any top notch school, Global's instructors: nurture the whole child, instill trust and confidence in the child, nurture the child's nature (very important to us), and provide consistent support, enthusiasm, and encouragement. Notably, the academy also runs programs that reinforce our values at home (reading, academic effort/achievement, responsibility). We couldn't be more pleased with our decision to join Global Martial Arts and enjoy watching our children grow through their hard work and respect for the instruction.
Global Martial Arts has provided a very positive and uplifting environment for my daughters to train. They have taught them the main principles of self discipline and fill them with positive reinforcement. We had a billing issue, and Joe was a big help in getting it resolved. He seems to really care about what they do here, and their years in business should speak for itself!
I lost 28 pounds during the 6 week kick boxing challenge with the guidance of Joe and all the instructors. It was extremely difficult but I feel so much healthier. Thanks to everyone at Global Kick Fit!
Edit, the workout was great. I was part of a program that if I paid $500 up front as incentive to lose 25 pounds in 6 weeks, attend at least 3 classes a week (i attended 4-6 per week) and leave a review, which I did. If I did all this, I would get the money back. I told them upfront that I was on vacation the last week, but I could do it in 5 weeks. I weighed out before I left for vacation and had lost 28 pounds. This was verified by an instructor. I was never given my money back. They tried to get me to sign up for further classes and apply it to that. I didn't want that, I wanted my money back that I still have not received.
