If you’re looking for a martial arts school with appropriately rigorous training, great community, and excellent coaching, then this is the place for you. As a young man just entering the real world, I’ve struggled with confidence and self-acceptance. Training at Hanto Union however has helped me in improving my confidence not only with jiu-jitsu, but in everyday experiences with work, school, and future planning. I’ve now been training at Hanto Union for two years and don’t regret a single day. My life certainly has changed for the better since beginning, and likewise I recommend this school to anyone looking to improve any and all aspects of their life.
Posted 1 year agoMy teacher and teammates here at Hanto Union have inspired me to become a better athlete and juijiteiro. Besides the welcoming environment and positive attitudes of everyone, I like how the instructor incorporates different types of grappling techniques. I feel that I am not only becoming a better practitioner of BJJ, but I have better energy levels to handle day to day activities outside of the mats. We are extremely lucky to have this club here and I am privileged to be a part of this group.
Posted 2 years agoI've trained BJJ for over 10 years at 5 different schools. Hanto is by far the best place that I've ever trained. Mike is an awesome instructor and role model. Wish that I had started working out with them earlier.
Posted 3 years agoHanto Jiu Jitsu provides quality instruction in a safe, clean, and challenging environment that will benefit you mentally, physically, and socially. Mike is an excellent instructor with extensive experience who will push you to improve while respecting your abilities. We also have a great team that is very supportive of those who are new to the sport. We hope to see you on the mats.
Posted 5 years agoIf you're looking for quality Jiu-Jitsu with good people to train with, visit Hanto. The mats are full of tough rolls, but everyone is welcoming and supportive. Renfroe is an excellent instructor with tons of grappling knowledge and mat experience. I've been fortunate enough to train at Hanto for several years and I can't say enough good things about Renfroe and his team.
