A really amazing Martial Arts school with great instructor. A life changer for kids as well as adults. If you live near you definitely should give it a try. I teach martial arts all over the world but this is one of the schools I really love most. Oh, before I forget, if you walk up to Grandmaster Pierson and tell him "Ben said Bless your heart and thank you for coming" you get a 10% discount on your first month 😜🤣

As a parent of two boys that attend Statesboro Karate, I am having a hard time believing the negative comment posted earlier. We have been a part of this school for years and have never seen anyone not be acknowleged. I would know as I am there for every class that my boys attend Like it was said in an earlier comment they are like family, my boys have the upmost respect and love for each and every one of them. We could not imagine not being a part of this school, it's a huge part of our life. My boys will continue to train here no matter what others say simply because I know the truth. This is an amazing school and anyone that can't see it... well it's their loss.
Hi Everyone, Clay Pierson here... I am the Owner/Master Instructor of Boro Martial Arts Centers. We make it easy to start, affordable, and provide quality training designed to help you succeed. We have classes available in Statesboro and Swainsboro! My encouragement to anyone is to try our school for yourself, speak to our parents and students, and definitely try class. We have 4 masters teaching weekly, 15 instructors teaching 3 arts. All our karate instructors, have been validated by 7th, 9th, and 10th degree Grandmasters nationwide from multiple systems and bear certification to prove it. Our school alone has taught several thousand people since 1998 and produced 93 Black Belts since 2005.
As both an instructor and student here at Statesboro Karate I must say that I have never been among a better group of disciplined and professional martial artists. With more than 12 years of military and law enforcement experience serving as a specialized instructor I hold this staff and family in high regard as one of the most humble groups of skilled practicioners I have ever trained with and been trained by. The same techniques that are taught here are being taught to law enforcement officers state wide. Everything that is taught here begins on a foundation of RESPECT, SELFLESSNESS, and HUMILITY. As a student I have been blessed to be placed in the midst of such class. I am honored to have been accepted into this organization and given the opportunity to to teach what I have learned as an instructor.
I'm sorry that this was your experience but I do find this hard to believe. Have you ever even stepped foot into this school? I find it really difficult to believe that you sat in our facility for 2 1/2 hours not noticed....this tells me that you have never been in our school! The Owner and Instructors are AMAZING at our school....nothing but nice. This school has been a life changing experience for both of my children and my family! This school not only teaches discipline and respect but a love for one another....this is a not only just a school Sir that you just spoke negatively about but a Family and personally I don't appreciate you talking about my FAMILY!! Not sure what kind of Marital Arts school you trained in but that's not how we do things here. Apparently you did not learn any respect in your 20 years of training.... I ask you Sir where is your respect? The kids and instructors at this school don't go around disrespecting others especially not fellow Martial Artist. If you was at our school for 2 1/2 hours you would have seen that our instructors are busy teaching the students but ALWAYS make time for visitors and parents. Just for the record usually when you step into a place of business you approach the business counter...so I ask what your intentions were when you stepped into the school. If you were honestly looking for a place to train you would have approached them instead of just sitting there. I am so thankful for Master Pierson and his Instructors! They have been nothing but a blessing to my family. I have two girls who have been training for almost 3 years. This is our second home...my children eat, sleep, and breathe Martial Arts! Not only do they love coming here for the training but also because of the people here. My children have made a lifetime bond with each and everyone of the instructors and staff members. They know that when they walk into Statesboro Karate that they are accepted and loved unconditionally without a doubt! Statesboro Karate has been the best decision that we have ever made for our children!!!
Statesboro Karate has some of the most talented instructors & students validated by some of the most respectable high ranking martial artists across the nation. My children have grown up & have been taught discipline & respect here. I would encourage anyone searching for a place to train & become a part of a martial arts family to come by & give them a try for yourself.
