5 Stars – A Wonderful Experience! Effingham Martial Arts has been such a blessing to our family! Since enrolling my son, we've seen such a positive change in him. Not only is he more social and outgoing, but he's also become much more focused and attentive, both at home and in school. He knows that when we talk , we need to listen! The instructors and staffs are absolutely amazing—professional, patient, and incredibly good with the kids. They strike the perfect balance between discipline and fun, making every class something my son looks forward to. He especially loves the games and the friendly atmosphere. He loves doing his fighting stance now with Mr Jaden! Lol! I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s more than just martial arts—it’s a supportive, encouraging environment that helps kids grow in confidence and character. Highly recommend! Thank you!

If you’ve been thinking about signing your kids up for martial arts, do it here. My children have been attending Effingham Martial Arts since March 2025, and their growth has been amazing! The instructors are patient, motivating, and truly care about each child’s progress. We’ve seen huge improvements in focus, confidence, and discipline—not just in class but at home and school too. The energy here is so positive and family-oriented. If you’re looking for a program that builds strong character and real-life skills, this is absolutely the place to be!

We’ve been taking my son here for a few months now, and so far he’s enjoying it. The instructors are all super friendly and patient with him. Its been a great experience.

My boys have had so much fun learning these new skills. The staff is so patient with all the kids. Heather is really great with the kids and teaching them, showing them how to become better students. My boys look forward to going to class . More than any other sport they have participated in!! Thank you for giving my boys and outlet while learning patience and accountability.

We have enjoyed becoming a part of Effingham Martial Arts over the last few months. Since joining my son’s self-confidence has grown and he has gained a sense of accomplishment. He loves to show off his karate skills to anyone who will watch and calls his grandparents each week to tell them about what he has achieved.
