I was 250 lbs when I walked in with little knowledge of working out or combat sports, I now can’t imagine anywhere else being a better atmosphere or training center. Good Training, Good people, Good Instructors,overall a good environment! In January I started training at this academy I was 270 lb now as of December of today I am 212 lb and I would like to thank the academy, Tom and his instructor Dustin for all of the amazing ways to make training exercise and Brazilian jujitsu a pivotal part of my health and wellness and just overall for my family very good place to go!

This is a gem of our community. If you join this gym, you will improve your physical fitness, your ability to defend yourself and your family, and you will be apart of a group dedicated to positive energy and focused intention. The instructor, Tom, is an extremely personable individual that I have seen consistently make an effort to communicate with everyone in his gym, and he creates an environment that is driven by personal improvement and determination. This is a perfect place to bring yourself or your child to gain skills and confidence that will resonate throughout your entire life. He puts his credentials on the wall, and he is a student of Jean Jacques Machado. The facility is well thought out and very clean. Give it a try, you never know.
So far my boys really enjoy it here. I love how they do different stuff everyday, it's really fun.
I wasn't there long, but when I was, it really was solid. They had a "shoot house" where you were able to do scenario training AFTER learning the technique. That is something that is highly lacking in a lot of self-defense schools. Also, the HIIT was really fun in the mornings also! I did not attend the BJJ classes so I cannot comment on them.
This little place in the middle of... is awesome! I've attended Krav classes and seminars across the globe and I've found that everyone else is waaay behind or that their advanced levels are what I learned as a novice with Tom. He has a well rounded teaching style that made me feel like a natural (How he ended up here I'll never figure out). The Cross Fit, or HIIT, aspect makes it unique because "strong people are harder to kill" and because I'm the last line of defense for my family and friends. The atmosphere is very diverse and the gym is well equipped. It's also the perfect way to build with other people that you can relate to and who help to hold you accountable for achieving your fitness goals. My strength, my speed, agility, energy levels, and ease of movement have improved so much that I feel like kicking stuff for no reason. If you think I'm exaggerating I challenge you to attend 1 class (The first class Free!l You're the last line of defense!

Fantastic gym. While visiting relatives, did a drop in for the BJJ class. Tom the head coach is a very nice guy and that was reflected in the atmosphere of the gym. Everyone was very welcoming. Tom is a Jean Jacques Machado black belt. Machado is a legend in BJJ. Tom has been a eye witness to BJJ and MMA history. It was evident in our class as he showed details that only a high level coach could do. To have him in the small town of Rincon and in the Savannah area is a true gift. I will definitely train here again when I am in town.
I just recently cancelled my membership because I'm no longer interested in learning martial arts but I can say that Tom is a very good teacher who creates a good teaching environment. The other people who attended are all very kind and respect as well. I highly recommend this place. Tom (the owner) got back to me very swiftly as well when it came to me cancelling my membership.

the place was great for the first few months until you get to know them. they subtly start turning there attention twirls small things and not helping you as much as needed they don’t help and get angry once they are asked for help 2 times
