My son did the free trial lesson at Gracie Barra and LOVED it! The staff were incredible, and as a complete novice, they really kept an eye on him to help him be able to keep up and have a meaningful experience. Fantastic organization!!

Me and my boys had zero experience in any martial art (or fighting sport) prior to coming to GB Meridian a couple years ago. Beginning our training here has been one of the best decisions I have made for me and my family. It is a fun, family-like community that has enhanced our lives, kept us in shape, and given us all a solid foundation of self-defense and martial arts knowledge. Thanks to professor Beto, Professor Garrett, coaches and staff!

I’ve been training here now for over 2.5 years. Professor Beto is incredible with his knowledge of jiujitsu but he also has a background in Judo which helps a lot with our stand up game. I also have 4 children that train, and they all love it and look forward to the days they get to go in.

After the three trial lessons, I was convinced that this was the Jiu-jitsu gym I wanted my son to train at. Shout out to Mr. Oliver for having excellent patience and stellar teaching ability. After finding out I was being sent out of the area however, I went to the front desk not expecting much. Shirlane and Mary however, were fantastic. They not only worked with me, they even showed me that there was an option to purchase gently used gis instead of investing in a brand new gi, when I’m not going to be here much longer. Instead of writing me off because I wasn’t going to be in the area long, they understood my situation, and exceeded expectations. Well done Gracie Barra Meridian, your people/leadership are the example of customer service done right.

We take our daughter to this specific Gracie Barra and they are fabulous. At first it could be considered under whelming however there is such a sense of unity from day 1. You get a free week to try it out and right off the bat they suit you up in a white Gi so you match the class. The Coaches/Professor go out of their way to ensure everyone understands what they are doing even if it means hopping down to the mat to show them how or do it with them. If there's an issue whether it be behavioral or kids acting out, they get down to the kids' level and patiently talk to them and explain why it's not okay and how it's affecting everyone. If that doesn't work then they do sit out so class is never held up. It is very family oriented and I can not say enough great things about them. My daughter loves being here and adores all the main Coaches she has worked with although Faby is definitely her favorite ❤

I have been here for almost 9 months of starting my Bjj journey and what a great place it has been with Professor Garett and Professor Beto, great teaches and very welcoming for anyone. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Gracie Barra has done wonders for me and my family. Their kids program is top notch. Anti bullying, Self defense and Sport JiuJitsu. It’s JiuJitsu for everyone Woman, Kids and Men as well. Very welcoming staff.

This is an outstanding place to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! The instructors are world class and understand the difference between sport and self-defense, teaching both with experience and expertise!
