  I love training at JG Academy in Meridian. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, whether you have been training Bjj for awhile or are a complete beginner (like me). Chris and the other coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping you improve. All of the members that train here are also incredible people and very supporting. There is a strong sense of community here. The gym is well-maintained and clean. The schedule is flexible, offering a variety of classes for all levels so it is easy to fit into your routine. I highly recommend this gym!

  I can’t say enough good things about JG Academy Meridian. From my very first day I have felt welcomed and at-home. There is incredible instruction and a lot of talent in the gym to push you, but at the same time, a culture that is rare and hard to find because rather you’ve been training for years or are brand new to Jiu-Jitsu, it’s a place where you can learn, grow, and thrive. The gym is immaculately clean, culture incredible, people are awesome, and coaches are talented and excellent at what they do. If you’re looking for a place to train at around Meridian, JG is without a doubt a spot to checkout and consider—you won’t be sorry.

  This place is great! I was visiting in town and got to do a few training sessions with Chris and the crew. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, just great vibes all around. Chris is a high level black belt with serious skills, and you can tell he really cares about his students. Class was really fun, and there was alot of room for creativity and organic learning. No long lectures here, come to train and get better!

  I came from out of state to visit an old training partner. The owner, Chris was extremely accommodating and friendly! The training routine was a little different from what I'm used to at my local gym, but it was effective, fun, and great practice. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely come back. Thanks Chris!
