My daughter has been attending CJA since she was 5 and is now a confident 8 year old, training twice a week. The children are taught in a professional, supportive, and engaging environment. It’s truly a privilege for them to learn from world class coaches. The academy also hosts fantastic judo camps during school holidays in the dedicated dojo, they are a great mix of fun, training and the chance to burn off energy. For my daughter, the impact of CJA and its coaches has been immense, with transferable lessons that extend beyond the dojo. I’ve seen her grow in self confidence, pride and the understanding that consistency and dedication can lead to success. They are skills she'll continue to develop for the rest of her life. In other sports and activities, I've seen kids unable to fully participate due to financial constraints. However, the fee at CJA is so reasonable that it's accessible. I believe this is incredibly important, as it ensures every child has the opportunity to get involved and benefit from the club. Lastly, the sense of community at CJA is something really special and creates a positive atmosphere for the kids. Teamwork really does make the dream work! A big thank you to everyone at Cardiff Judo Academy.

A Transformative Journey at Cardiff Judo Academy. My 10-year-old son has been a dedicated student at Cardiff Judo Academy since the age of eight. Having explored various sports, he has finally found his true passion in judo. As parents, we prioritize the development of confidence, respect, and discipline in our son, alongside fostering qualities of friendship and compassion. This academy excels in nurturing these very attributes. The coaching staff comprises responsible and accomplished professionals, many of whom are current or retired world-class athletes. Their instruction is both rigorous and supportive, adeptly balancing the technical development of their students with their character growth. The facilities are expansive, immaculately maintained, and designed with safety as a paramount concern. It would be difficult to find a more conducive environment for judo training. In addition to the twice-weekly sessions, the judo camps held during half-term and extended holidays are a particular highlight for my son. Cardiff Judo Academy provides an unparalleled experience for young athletes, fostering not only physical prowess but also essential life skills. It is a place where children thrive, both on and off the mat.
