A new student of BJJ, after considering a few options, deciding to train with Forge83 has been one the best decisions I've made. The instructors are phenomenal; extremely welcoming and their passion for teaching is clear. Their ability to break down techniques whilst making the process engaging and effective for all levels is exceptional....highly appreciated as a newbie! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Everyone, regardless of belt colour / experience, is friendly and willing to help you learn and improve. A genuine family feel. There are no egos here, just a great community of people. The schedule is accomodating, making it easy to fit training around my busy life. Whether you want to compete, learn self-defense, or just get on shape...this is the place. I could recommend enough!

Ross and co are amazing, their training is built for all ages and all experiences. We have the whole family join because it’s great fun, and you learn the art of discipline, confidence and strength. Highly recommend.

Forge 83 is a very friendly community of BJJ practitioners, who demonstrate that the sport is for everyone. Good quality instruction , the community all make sure you are not struggling with anything. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of doing a class do it...regardless of fitness level, experience , sex, this is a diverse club with a postive and caring attitude of its members. Give it go you wont regret it.

If I could give 10 stars I would , my brother in law brought my nephew here and i soon followed with my daughter, the confidence which has grown in them both is unbelievable, ross is impeccable and a great role model to anyone who walks through them doors making them feel like friends instantly. We had a family tragedy within our 1st few weeks and ross was there from the word go and dont think we can ever repay him for that. But if you are thinking of starting your children in BJJ then forge83 is where you should take them and let ross & his team guide them and mold them into better versions of themselves. Absolutely brilliant training for my two boys - having trained at two other BJJ places locally, Forge 83 is far superior. Ross runs fun, educational and safe sessions for kids and they absolutely love it. Great to see how the kids are developing in their skills whilst also instilling discipline 🥰

Forge83 absolutely delivers. From the moment my 12 year old lad stepped into his first class, we saw exactly why this club has that glow everyone talks about. The coaches didn’t just teach — they connected, explained, encouraged. The class vibe was genuine, friendly, supportive, and full of energy. We travel a good distance to get there off the back of what we’ve heard of Ross and the coaching team, and everything felt smooth, well run, and worth it. He left the mat smiling, excited, and already asking when the next session is. If you’re considering BJJ, then this is the one. Thank you, Forge83!

Very warm and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Lovely environment and great people. The teaching is spot on, it catered to all levels and abilities and was very informative, easy to follow and fun. If you’re looking to start jiujitsu and are near the Caerphilly area I highly recommend going to Forge

A fantastic new BJJ club set in a well suited location, immaculate environment, and very spacious. A wonderfully talented team of coach's, offering a range of classes for adults, kids and more specifically Women Only! There is something for everyone. Ross and Jo make a great team, super friendly and supportive. Anyone and everyone welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start or progress with their jiujitsu journey to give this club a go!

After time away from the sport I recently joined Forge83 and it has been an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the instructors made me feel welcome and part of the community. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for effective training. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about teaching. Absolutely awesome! Joined up for the new year and loving it. The rewards program they have is very unique and it's really easy to sign up. The instructors are welcoming and kind - lovely thing to do for a new year challenge!
