Dropped in for two weeks while I was in town for work. Very welcoming and passionate about what they do. A lot of high level guys to train with and learn from. Had a great time while I was there and hope to be able to come back.

This is an amazing place to train. I had to stop temporarily due to the lack of car and not living in the area of them, but the minute I get the chance, I want badly to return. The instructors are amazing and really push you to do your best. They have helped me break out of my shell and encourage you to face fears. They do more than teach the routine, they coach you to improve in all aspects. I love it here. If you're looking for a good place to train in BJJ or Kickboxing, this is the place to come.
Armezzani Jiu Jitsu Academy provides the highest quality training you will find in western pa. Proven techniques that work. Need proof. 2017,2018 & 2019 WPABJJ Team champions. If it wasn’t for Covid I’m sure there would’ve been a 2020 championship trophy in Armezzani’s possession too. I started here 5 months ago and it has absolutely been a life changing experience for me. Not just on the mat but off the mat as well with the way I eat and live my life. It truly has changed the way I look at everything. I cannot ever see myself or my children not training Jiu-jitsu. The training and knowledge you'll attain here is world class. I love this place and the people in it. I can't recommend it enough.
Armezzani jiu jitsu is fantastic family friendly environment! This facility, along with the others in lineage, provide a love for martial arts, and a love for teaching that art that's unsurpassed. I've trained at multiple gyms in the greater pittsburgh area and I'm glad that my family and I call this place one of our homes.

Great teaching from Louis Armezzani head instructor black belt under Tony Passos. Plenty of purple and brown belts to teach as well. Lou or students also come to West Karate Weirton to teach as well. Troy Fernandez teaches under Louis at West Karate full time.I feel comfortable training at both schools. Really great community of people to train with.
Simply put, a great place to learn jiu-jitsu, MMA, or wrestling. This place is the real deal. Professor Lou Armezzani is an actively competing and winning the black belt with a team of students that regularly finish at or near the top of every competition they attend. Students range from casual students who want to learn, to active BJJ competition competitors, to MMA in cage fighters. But no matter what Professor Armezzani treats everyone equally, respectfully, and ensures a clean, positive training environment for everyone. There are lots of practitioners at various stages of there jiu-jitsu Journey. Male or Female white belt to black, you will find a good roll here. If you're looking for a place that's going to hand out belts like candy, look someplace else. When you see someone wearing a color other than white, you better believe they have earned it with proven skill gained over time and not by monthly payments. Even those with a few stripes on a white belt must have proven themselves in some way, shape, or form.
This is a top notch Jiu Jitsu school! You will definitely not be steered wrong here. Professor Lou and his instructors are the best of the best!
Coach Lou is an amazing guy. Great with kids and has a lot of patience. Brought my kids here for a camp and everyone the staff, other kids, parents everyone was so nice.

My son has been training at Pride Lands PGH for about 5 months and i have never seen him so excited for something. I started training there about 4 months ago and love every session. Proffesor Lou Armezzani is very passionate about bring up the next generation of grapplers and is awesome with the kids. He is one of the most patient people i have ever met and brings many years of training and experience to the mats. If you want to start training this is the place no matter the skill level or age!
