This place is the real deal and the people are fantastic! Respectful atmosphere and knowledgeable teachers! You test and move up when you earn it. I love that this is a safe space to learn an art !My children can be themselves and continue to grow in this and gain confidence all the while making some new friends! Center stage martial arts has helped my boy come out of his shell. Highly recommend them. Helping raise a generation..making lady's and gentleman. Come give it a try
Center Stage Martial Arts is the best. Master McClements, Master Roth, and Mr. Richburg are amazing. They all work very well with both my daughter and my son. Karate has helped with my daughters ADHD and has helped to boost her confidence.
The lessons helped our oldest son a lot with learning to control his body and his emotions in certain situations. They were very attentive to focusing on all children in the classes and were able to work with them where they were at. All the instructors are kind and patient as well. Highly recommend for parents of littles who are exploring different activities.
My daughter and son goes here. She loves going here. It is reasonably priced. They do a great job with the little ones. They also implement life lessons into the classes which has helped my daughter greatly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Young and older.
My little guy gained interest when Master Harry came into his preschool/daycare for a few weeks to work with the kiddos. We have been attending for a little over a year and a half now and he has learned so much not just about martial arts and the different techniques but more importantly about listening, respect and self-discipline. I have loved watching him grown and incorporating his life lessons he learns on the mat at home. Great work Master Harry and Team!

My 10 year old daughter has been attending Center Stage Martial Arts since she was 7. Cannot say enough of how great this school is. Martial Arts has helped her grow in so many ways, boosted her self esteem, better focus in school and even improved her performance in other sports. We love watching her compete in the tournaments, and are amazed at how far she has come. Master McClements and his teaching staff are wonderful. I would recommend this school to any child or adult that is interested in Martial Arts.
This place is great! My two energetic boys (9 and 10) got good workouts and learned many skills. 9yo even won in a competition which I’m sure helped his confidence. Master McClements also instills leadership in his students. On multiple occasions I witnessed teenage students teach the younger ones proper forms and movements, and how to behave in class.
It has always been of dream of mine to have my son follow in my footsteps. I started martial arts at the age of 4 and I received my black at the age of 9. I was so excited that he was willing to join and actually taking a liking to it. I do mean it when I say I have no regrets in deciding on where to take him which is (Pittsburgh Martial Arts). My son is autistic and the team especially Master Mcclements does a fantastic job supporting /aiding him. The overall development of his progress has shown and well worth it. The therapist as well have notice a big difference. When he receive his second belt it was like Christmas morning for him. I have known the instructor at Pittsburgh Martial Arts, Master Harry McClemens, for over 20 years. Never has he waivered in his dedication to the martial arts. As an instructor he teaches a complete traditional martial art emphasizing discipline and personal development while being sure to teach practical and effective self-defense. He continues to keep his students motivated by demonstrating and explaining how self-defense techniques are performed and why they are done that way.
Master Harry has the patience of a saint with my five year old. I’m so glad we’ve come to PMA!
Harry and the other instructors are awesome, and everyone is really welcoming and friendly. I convinced my daughter to sign up and then she convinced me join. She really enjoyed it, and I got a great workout too. Really is an amazing place and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Though my time at the school was short, too many commitments, it was enjoyable. If I had more tenacity, I'd continue taking advantage of Master McClements' thorough instructional process & the unending support of all participants!

My family and I have been participating in classes here for a year and half & we LOVE IT!! My wife and I have progressed up six belts already! The classes are structured, fun, and informative. Our six year-old son has grown exponentially with his confidence as well as his focus! Their leaders make all newcomers feel very welcomed! The prices are more than fair (especially compared to other gyms/dojos). We have gained a new family here and couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Over 16 years ago, I took my first martial arts lesson here. I was 32 years old and a smoker. I was looking for something to replace a bad habit, and I found what I was looking for. I have had the pleasure of practicing here and at two other schools in the Pittsburgh Area. Martial Arts is an endless subject, and there is always more to learn. I am humbled by all the people who have taught me along the way. I learn every day from the teachers to the students. I earned my Black Belt in 2009 when my son was born. He was almost born here (true story) and today I have the pleasure of training with him. I have more memories here than I can list. I look forward to training and growing here for years to come. Our family takes classes here (Little Kicks 4-5 year old class and adult classes.) We have been very happy with the quality of the classes. Master McClements has wonderful patience and skill teaching both his youngest students and adults. He also adjusts skills and teaches modifications for all skill levels. Each member of our family was prepared for group classes with individual instruction. We highly recommend this facility. The value is also exceptional and we were not subjected to a heavy sales pitch during our trial classes.
My son has been attending Martial Arts classes here for almost two years. He absolutely loves it and I love the flexibility of attending classes for any or all of the five days during the week. It really shows a lot of confidence in your own business when you feel the need to call and try to change a four star review out of the fear that it will ruin your business.
Over priced. Tried to cancel and pay the 75 cancelation fee, and was told at that time there needs to be a 30 notice of cancelation and we would have to pay the 39 a week during that time and the cancelation fee... was never informed of 30 notice for cancelation. They were already charging 5 dollars a week for us not to be there during football, which is ok. But these are kids and they change thier minds about activities. To gouge people like this is garbage.
