The Forum Superfights

December 5th, 2026. The Boys and Girls Club, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Spectators:

$25 admission for anybody who is not competing. Children 10 and under are free.

Doors open at 2pm. Matches start at 3pm

Rules: 

TIME LIMITS

All matches will be 6 minutes with 3 mins overtime if it's a draw. (Max. 1 overtime)

- First 6 mins no points

- Overtime 3 mins positive points only (No negative points)

Scoring System

Regulation time will be submission only (No points)

In the event of a draw at the end of regulation time, there will be a 3 minute overtime round which will start IMMEDIATELY after regulation (no rest period).

The overtime round will include points. Only 1 point will be awarded per position or transition. 

Points awarded for:

- Takedown                           -1 point

- Side Control                        -1 point

- Mount                                  -1 point

- Knee on Belly                      -1 point

- Sweep                                 -1 point

- Back Control w/ 2 Hooks   -1 point

In order to score multiple points, you have to move through multiple transitions and positions. (Example: Passing the guard into side control, then moving to knee on belly, then to mount is worth 3 points. 1 for side control, 1 for knee on belly, 1 for mount.)

Fouls

2 warnings for minor fouls, then disqualification.

Any illegal technique or major foul will result in immediate disqualification

Major Fouls:

- Intentional Groin Shot

- Biting

- Intentional Eye Gouging

- Intentional Striking

- Intentional Fish Hooking

- Slamming

- Verbal Abuse Toward Officials 

Minor Fouls:

- Unintentional Groin Shot

- Unintentional Striking

- Unintentional Eye Gouging

- Unintentional Fish Hooking

- Hard/Clubbing Collar Ties

- Verbal Abuse Toward Opponent

- Arguing with Referee (Extends to the athletes coaches and teammates)

Allowed Techniques: 

All adult superfights will follow the 18+ Purple-Black belt allowed techniques

All under 18 superfights will follow the Under 18 allowed techniques

Weigh Ins: 

Starting at 8:00AM on day of competition. 

Youth *2 LBS Allowance for weigh ins. You will be Disqualified if weight is not made.

Adults *1 LB Allowance for weigh ins. You will be Disqualified if weight is not made.
