Post Falls is part of a small BJJ tournament scene in northern Idaho, with events also held in nearby Coeur d'Alene and Athol. The American Grappling Federation has run the AGF Coeur d'Alene Championships, The Forum has hosted The Forum Open and The Forum Superfights, and the Santa Tap Out Classic has been held in December.
Most events offer both Gi and No-Gi divisions, and around half include an absolute division, with kids divisions at some events. Events have run at several points in the year, with August, October and December among the more common months.
