What to expect:

One v One Semi Contact Kickboxing match.

Each athlete competes once.

Athletes report to professional staff

Qualified referees and judges that are vetted by coaches and gym owners.

Flatscreen monitors that provide clear viewing of brackets and competition order.

Mats sanitized using nanobond treatments.

Professional medical staff- Certified Athletic Trainers/EMT at every event.

Awards: Oversized Gold and Silver medals awarded

Divisions are offered based on age, weight and skill level. We attempt to keep competitors within three years of age, 15 lbs of weight difference and 6-12 months (2-3 bouts) experience.  

Adult Skill Levels: Novice: 0 bouts, Beginner: 1-2 bouts, Intermediate 3-4 bouts, Experienced 5 or more bouts (this includes all types of striking bouts/tournaments: ie, karate, kickboxing, boxing, muy thai, etc)

Youth Skill Levels are based on length of time training in striking. Novice: 0-6 months, Beginner: 6-18 months, Intermediate: 18-36 months, Advanced: 36+ months of striking training.

Matches will be created based on registrations.  The event director will make every effort to have matches scheduled before the day of the event.  When this is not possible, matches will be made on site.  As soon as a match can be made, it will be posted as a division in SMOOTHCOMP.  If competitors or coaches have any concerns with matchups, please email us asap.
