What to expect:

To provide a combat experience that helps fighters become better versions of themselves. We believe that one on one competition provides novice and experienced fighters the training to adapt, improvise and overcome on the mat and in life. We all learn from wins and losses.

Athletes report to professional staff

Qualified referees that are vetted by coaches and gym owners.

Professional medical staff- EMT at every event.

Awards: Oversized Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded in Gi and NOGI divisions.

CHAMPION Belt awarded to competitors that win first place in BOTH GI & NOGI. (All ages and divisions are eligible).  If you are DOUBLE GOLD (Gi and NOGI), you get a BELT.

FASTEST SUBMISSION Awarded CHAMPION BELT (awarded in youth and adult divisions).

THE SHIELD: The SHIELD is awarded to the BEST OVERALL TEAM that registers a minimum of 25 individuals (not divisions).

*OVERALL awards will be awarded to the stand alone local gym.  We will not combine team scores from affiliate gyms for these awards.

*Adult NOGI OPEN/ABSOLUTE Division is for Adults White & Blue belt. Stalling is not allowed (except from taking the back): 1st time: verbal warning; 2nd time: advantage given; 3rd time: 2 points awarded; 4th time: disqualified.  Division is five minutes.

2026 ACADEMY OF THE YEAR Points are tracked for all events and accumulate to throughout the season. Three academies will be recognized in November 2026: 1st place $1500, 2nd place: $1000, 3rd place: $500

Yes. A Champion Belt is awarded for fastest submission in youth and adult divisions.
What team awards are listed?
Awards are listed for Best Overall Youth Team, Best Overall Adult Team, Best Overall Academy/Program, Best Womens Team, and The Shield for the Best Overall Team that registers a minimum of 25 individuals.
Are affiliate gym scores combined for overall awards?
No. Overall awards are awarded to the stand-alone local gym, and team scores from affiliate gyms will not be combined for these awards.
