About the Event

Eight divisions. Eight champions. Eight fully funded opportunities to compete at the ADCC European Trials for the ADCC 2028 World Championships.

Any belt. Any level of experience. If you're 16 or over, and wish to become an ADCC WORLD CHAMPION, join us and prosper.

Each division will feature a single-elimination bracket, with competitors progressing through the bracket until one athlete remains. Each bracket requires a minimum of 16 competitors.

⚔️ RULESET

The Grand Prix will be contested with 6 minutes sub-only bouts. If there is no sub, a 10 points must score system will be used to decide the winner.

Juding Criteria

Judges will determine the winner based primarily on who came closest to finishing the match, including the quality and danger of major submission threats, followed by aggression, control, and effective use of grappling. Judges will penalise stalling, passivity, and deliberate guard pulling, with competitors expected to actively pursue the finish and engage throughout the match.

❌ Prohibited Techniques & Actions

All submissions are generally permitted, subject to the prohibited techniques and actions listed below:

  • Dual shoulder neck cranks i.e Full Nelson
  • Crucifix
  • Trachea crushing
  • Twisting guillotines
  • Spiking
  • Forward rolling from Turtle
  • All slams
  • Kani Basami / Scissor Takedowns
  • Foul play / unsportsmanlike conduct

Competitors are expected to compete with control and respect for the safety of their opponents.

6162 reserves the right to disqualify or remove any competitor whose conduct is deemed unsafe, abusive, deliberately malicious or otherwise inconsistent with the safe and respectful hosting of the event.
