We stopped in to sign up for classes, we were in and out within 15-20 minutes, toddler friendly enrollment process! Staff was super friendly, facility was very clean, and the kids looked like they were having a blast learning!! My child is really excited to get started with lessons!

I highly recommend anyone who's looking for a place to take their child to have fun, build confidence, this is the place. The instructors are top level, very patient and very knowledgeable. Best decision I've made regarding my child.

My son has been attending Pooler Karate firc3 years, and the growth I've seen in him—both on and off the mat—has been incredible. The instructors are not only skilled martial artists but also amazing mentors. They teach discipline, confidence, respect, and perseverance in a way that really connects with the kids. The environment is welcoming, safe, and focused on positive development. My son looks forward to every class and always leaves feeling proud of what he’s learned. I truly appreciate how the coaches take time to work with each child individually while building strong team spirit. If you're looking for a jiu jitsu school that values character as much as technique, I highly recommend Pooler Karate!

My grandson absolutely loves attending Pooler Karate. From the moment we walked in, it felt like more than just a martial arts studio—it’s a vibrant community. The instructors are deeply supportive, helping students not only master techniques but also build confidence and discipline in every class. We’ve watched him grow so much—gaining focus, respect, and enthusiasm for learning. It truly feels like a family where every student is encouraged to succeed. If you’re looking for a place that fosters physical skill and character development, Pooler Karate is an outstanding choice.

We have been taking our daughter to pooler karate since she was 2, and she is about to turn 5. She did 6he Lil ninjas program and has moved over to the little rollers program. She is a big fan of it all. She loves her teachers and everything about this program. We love watching her grow here.

Pooler Karate is not only a great martial arts school, but also a community-minded and family-oriented organization that focuses on helping kids build their confidence while learning positive character traits. It's a good mix of learning, is a great way for the kids to build their strength and endurance and it's fun for all ages. What they're doing with their Special Kicks program is also really remarkable! Highly recommend.

Pooler Karate has an beautiful facility with an incredible Mat for the athletes to practice. They have very high skilled coaches who are also very kind. But, the best part is how they handle the kids with special needs. I watched them training and I was surprised with how dedicated they are in training those kids. They make the difference in the area. They are very professional and I recommend them.

This place is really amazing! My son has been attending here for almost two years. Even though he didn't speak English well at first, they guided him wonderfully, and all the staff are very caring and kind while also being strict in their teaching. My son really enjoyed coming here. It's such a pity that our family is moving to another place, and he won't be able to earn his black belt. I believe he has improved a lot in manners, respect, and focus training thanks to this place. I'm sad that he can't continue here, but I want to express my gratitude to everyone for helping my son grow so much!

A Great Dojo. I love it here. If you want a challenge in your life; if you want to feel like you achieved something, then come down to pooler Karate and take a class... its intense. I gaunrantee you will sweat, feel good pain, build camaraderie and grow... this place is amazing for your mental, physical, and spiritual health...unlock the warrior within... come to class with a open mind and the willingness to walk this marathon... Every man, woman, and child should have a discipline. Especially now in these crazy times... martial arts is a great hobby, a great habit... give this to yourself, invest in yourself... come and join the community. Peace and blessings to all.

Coming here is the highlight of not only my two sons, but my week as well. Each Coach does an amazing job at providing a safe space and outlet for my sons all while learning fundamentals of jiu jitsu, respect, discipline, and integrity! These coaches have the patience of angels and they’re so fun! I have a blast just watching them interact with the children. If you’re second guessing, wondering or even just considering, this is your sign to take the step and do it. They do a great job at pulling the child’s attention with interactive games that ultimately each have a lesson in them. I recommend every parent to Pooler karate! Being a single mother, the coaches have became my “im going to tell Coach Todd” outlet for them to tighten up! They know just how to have fun all while maintaining their respectable status! You can tell just within a few minutes of interacting with each coach they’re respectable and amazing people!!

My child is in the Lil’ Ninjas class. This has been a great experience so far with working on self control and how to introduce kids into the world of martial arts. The instructors accomplish a lot in the 30 minute sessions with the children and typically keep the kids entertained. I appreciate the efforts towards discipline and watching the kids earn stripes and belts. It is a good lesson to achieving their goals. A little more on the spot corrections for the kids would be beneficial.

Pooler Karate has been such a wonderful after school program for my kiddos! I have my son and twin girls and they absolutely love working with everyone there! My family especially loves Miss AJ who is so tremendously patient and kind and stern in her lessons! My kids truly hold respect for her and so do I as she was patient and understanding and really tried working with my twin girl who is autistic and non verbal. Miss AJ is such a tremendous instructor and doesn’t look down on any student.
