We were here for the first time today for a Jiu-jitsu tournament and everything was so impressive! The space is super clean, organized, & so big with a large array of equipment. They have a really cool collection of memorabilia decorating the walls. The tournament was very well run, with excellent staff and volunteers. The mood was so supportive & positive with a strong commitment to team spirit. The students were amazing- focused, hard-working and demonstrating great sportsmanship. My son goes to the Savannah branch & it has been such a positive influence on him. Definitely check out their range of classes & take the opportunity of the free week they offer to see what might work for you!

My son is a black belt in karate at PK but participated in the jiu-jitsu classes with Chappy for a black belt module. I highly recommend training here with Chappy and the rest of the instructors. They are very thorough and teach the kids and adults alike skills that can be used in every day life.

We’ve been part of the Pooler Karate family for nearly a year now, and it has been an exceptional experience from day one. My son is enrolled in both the Lil Rollers and Lil Ninjas programs, and the growth we’ve seen in his confidence, discipline, and overall skill set has been truly remarkable. Coach Taylor has played a huge role in his success within the Lil Rollers program, consistently providing the guidance, encouragement, and structure he needed to thrive. What sets Pooler Karate apart is the strong sense of community—everyone here treats you like family and goes above and beyond to support you, whether the need is personal or professional. One of the most outstanding aspects of the school is the Special Kicks program, an inclusive and compassionate initiative designed to support students with special needs. They also offer a private gym on-site, and for a small monthly fee, parents can get a workout in while their child is in class—just another thoughtful way they support the whole family. If you’re considering joining, I highly recommend taking advantage of the free trial. You won’t be disappointed. And if you have any questions, the dedicated staff—or even Mr. Carson himself—will be more than happy to assist you.

My son did his first tournament over the weekend and it was a great experience for him. All of the coaches were encouraging, especially with his age group (2-5 year olds). He went in being very nervous to coming out all smiles stating how good he was at it.
