Highly recommend A + Martial Arts. My girls went here for summer camp one week this past summer and we loved it so much we signed them both up for weekly classes. The staff is exceptional. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they all work really well with the kids. They make it fun for the little ones which is very important to us. They care about the children and their form which is also very important to us.
We love it so much we just had our daughter’s birthday party there this past weekend and we still can’t stop talking about it!!! The staff was very on top of everything and was in constant communication asking if everything was okay. ( EVERY THING WAS PERFECT ) Our guests were also so happy and the kids had a blast!!!! If you’ve been looking for a place that is well structured - takes their work seriously while still making it fun - this is the place to try!!! You’ll get hooked ! Our girls love the entire team 🩷

This dojo is like no other. Your kids will get to learn from the best Senseis, period! They are so caring, gifted, smart and personable. Great place! Sensei Adham and Sensei Omar were very attentive and ensured the class was engaging. The first time we walked through the door, we felt very welcome. Sensei Aarsha was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our daughter, who is usually very shy, felt very comfortable after spending a few minutes with her and had a blast in class and looks forward to going back every week.

Great Dojo! My son who is 5 years old performed his very first competition at this Dojo. The moment we walked through the door the team was in place with a warm welcome! My son immediately felt accepted and performed with great confidence. The sensei was great in giving direction of what was expected as far as performance goes, the judges were good and very fair! My son performed very well receiving 2 metals and a trophy! Thank you for a first great experience. My son will continue his passion and will never forget his very first experience. Thank you again.
Great place for the kids to learn martial arts! The children really have a blast with the senseis. The senseis care about the children and you can tell by how they teach.
Ashley and Adham run a great program, for kids and adults alike. Their energy, friendliness and professionalism are a joy to have in Great Neck! They’re loved by all!

A+ Martial Arts is #1!! Our kids love going to their Dojo and all of the Senseis are so great with children! You can tell they are not onky exoeets but also love what they do! We love them so much we had our son’s birthday party with them and not only were all the children so engaged and entertained (all ages!) but the parents were so impressed and kept asking me what the name of the Dojo was!

My son signed up to A+Martial Arts almost 3 years ago and since day one it's was a great experience for my son. Building lots of confidence and determination, while educating himself discipline. All the Sensais are really dedicated to the kids and they really teach them hard work,discipline and respect for others.
Sensei Adham and Sensei Yousif did my son’s 5th birthday and did the BEST job! Every kid (both boys and girls) ranging from ages 2.5 - 6yrs old was fully engaged, had the best time and loved getting to karate chop their own board! My son got to cut his cake with a huge sword and just had the best day. All the kids loved it and the parents loved watching the kids doing the activities. It’s a unique, rewarding and fun experience for everyone and I highly recommend!
A+ Martial Arts have become part of our family. The Senseis are really knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and fun! They are truly masters at their craft. Highly recommend to all families!
Sensei Ashley was kind enough to host our Girl Scouts troop (ages 6-7) to work on respecting ourselves and others. She was easy to communicate with and had great energy with our girls. All girls had their temperature taken, hand sanitizer and removed their shoes before entering the dojo. All the girls had a blast. I will be singing my daughters up in the spring.
Very glad I signed my boys up here! They are enjoying their time, though they won’t admit it to
me yet haha. Sensei Adham and Ashley and their associates are wonderful with children and I can’t wait to see how the boys will develop over time!

Love a plus martial arts. They are absolutely amazing with the kids. Come up with different routines each time and always switch it up. My son loves it and is learning so much.
I was bored with the gym so I decided to try out Kickboxing at Aplus. I was hooked immediately and I’ve been going for about 3 months now. The class is a great mix of circuit training, cardio and boxing and truly hits every body part. I’m pushed to work out hard, and feel accomplished after every class. Ashley and Adam impress me as they make the class enjoyable and keep it interesting by changing it up every time. Highly recommend!!
My husband and I joined the kickboxing classes at A+ Martial Arts a few months ago. We LOVE it! We are beginners and the coaches do a great job teaching us the different techniques. Additionally, the camaraderie with the other attendees made us feel welcomed from the start. The classes are fun with great music and it really is a whole body work out. We already feel stronger and always look forward to the next class. We highly recommend A+ Martial Arts!
I brought my 5 year old son to train Karate for the first time & we had the best experience. Sensai Adham was extremely hospitable upon our arrival & proved to be a great instructor. My two daughters have been Karate students at A+ Martial Arts for about 6 months now. What drew me to this dojo is the reputation of the owners, Sensei Ashley (U.S. Olympian) and Sensei Adham (professional fighter). It was important to me that my shy and introverted daughters are exposed to a strong female role model like Sensei Ashley who could build self-confidence and strength. My girls enjoy going to Karate and oftentimes, they are role playing and practicing what they learn at home. There are very few extra-curricular activities available where my girls (age 3 & 5) can be in the same class. I appreciate that at A+ Martial Arts, they are in the same class: bonding, learning, and having fun together as sisters. Every time we enter the dojo, we are greeted with smiles and positivity from the Senseis. It's clear Sensei Ashley and Sensei Adham are prideful and passionate about inspiring and motivating children to become good people. They never give up on trying to win over my poker-faced daughters. We highly recommend A+ Martial Arts!
This is an amazing karate dojo. Sensei Adham & Sensei Ashley put 100% into the kids. They have the expertise to teach children at all levels. They engage new kids to become confident and progress their skills all the way to National competitions. Our time at A+ Martial Arts has been an incredible journey and I have seen my kids progress along the way. My kids have different personalities and they both have become more confident mentally and physically. Above all they are so excited to train and have so much fun!
We wanted our two boys to feel confident, learn how to defend themselves if they ever need to and be physically fit. Sensei Adham ans Sensei Ashley have gone above and beyond our expectations. In less than a year our boys have competed and have come home with medals. Win or lose, they have learned and continue to learn so much at A plus Martial Arts! We are forever thankful!

My 7 years old loves it, he kept asking when he can go again after the first class, both instructors are very good with kids, teaching them techniques but kept it fun at the same time, would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for kids karate in the area.

Sensei Adham and sensei Ashley we’re so welcoming from the time I walked in (and I was sooo nervous considering I hadn’t exercised in year). Sensei Ashley was an AMAZING instructor!! She pushed me to points I didn’t know I was capable of reaching anymore!! I’m so excited about this place!!
I took a lot of kickboxing classes but never took a class like the one I took in this place taught by professional fighters. Felt amazing after the class highly recommend.
The owners of this dojo, Sensei Ashley & Sensei Adham, are two of the most hardworking, compassionate, and accomplished people I've ever met. They are open early in the morning to late in the evening almost every day to offer classes for everyone.
My son has been taking Karate lessons for more than six months, and since then, I have seen so much improvement in his behavior and listening skills. He is enthusiastic about going to class and enjoys learning from his Senseis.

Great Martial Arts and Kickboxing school! The instructors are enthusiastic and caring. They are experts in karate. In a very short time they have developed a successful competition team. This is the dojo to send your children to if you are looking for first class instruction.
Sensei Ashley & Adam are wonderful Sensei’s who have brought out the very best in my children. They espouse the character and values I believe in and teach skills, I could not find in any other place. My children have found great models here and at such a tender young age are capable of far more than what I was at the same time. A fun environment, where we leave laughing and smiling.
We are very happy with the little dragons class at A+ Martial Arts! My son initially had a hard time adjusting to the new setting and unfamiliar activity even though he found the class to be very fun. Sensei Adham worked patiently and persistently to make him feel comfortable over time and gain the confidence to independently participate in class and flourish! Both Sensei Adham and Sensei Ashley work wonderfully with the young kids. My son and his friends love the class.
