Fantastic coach very easy to learn. Great atmosphere and been a pleasure to train here. I started as a compete novice and it was very easy to learn techniques here. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants to try BJJ!

Going to Onward has been life changing these last few months. I started as someone who hadn't done any real fitness for about ten years. Thanks to the team and the great group of students there, I've been making steady progress. There's still a mountain ahead, but that's exactly the kind of challenge I relish. For me the discipline of fitness has long been a motivation issue, but here I can't wait for each session, and it is one of the best all round fitness sports you can do. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I've ever done. I could talk for hours about why I think everyone should try it. The fitness, self-defense, discipline, and mental side of it all come together in an effective martial art that's truly accessible no matter your size or strength level. Crucially there are no big egos, it is a club that carries real humility which makes a huge difference. Matt is an excellent instructor and a true master of both the art and how to teach it. I couldn't recommend Onward enough.
