  I trained with Onna Ju-Jitsu for 6-7 years and attended weekly to achieve my Nidan black belt - I would never have even tried a martial art for exercise or well-being until I met club coach and founder Sensei Mumtaz. She creates a safe, fun and accessible exercise environment in the dojo - children’s, mixed adults and ladies sessions are covered. The focus is on empowering you to achieve the best to your ability. Over the years the club remains steadfast in providing for the local community in/around Girlington, and representing the club members’ best interests.

  Sensei Mumtaz is excellent- firm, fair, kind, friendly, always safe and a clear instructor. She is always encouraging. An excellent role model and perfect person to teach you or your children good life skills. The adult classes are engaging and varied, are a good workout and you set the pace at which you learn. Gradings are done regularly and to a high standard. This is a truly community club. You will learn so much more than just jujitsu.

  My children have attended Onna Jujitsu Classes with Sensei Mumtaz for a number of years. They both really enjoy attending the classes. The club allows my children to progress at their own pace, in a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and encourages discipline, hard work, respect and teamwork. The classes always seem very well structured, always start and finish on time and the atmosphere and encouragement given to all students is second to none. Sensei Mumtaz and her team are amazing instructors, her years of experience and passion for the sport shows when she teaches! I can’t praise the club highly enough. I would highly recommend, and have already recommended Onna Jujitsu to parents to help their children with developing confidence, discipline, and control, in a fun and safe environment.

  My children have been with Onna Jujitsu for a couple years now. They have made progress and have completed a good part of their syllabus. Each belt is assessed by instructors at their Jujitsu gradings. The instructors have high expectations of students and deliver quality sessions with high standards. The gradings are very well organised and a pleasure to attend. My children enjoy seeing students from other Onna Jujitsu clubs grading at different levels. It's helped build their confidence and they are eager to work towards their black belt.

  I have been with this awesome club for over 14 years working my way through the belts myself and with my 2 children. Sensei Mumtaz is one of the most balanced and considerate people I have had the pleasure to work with. She is dedicated and loyal to both her club and her students, who she treats like family. The diversity of students that come through the club is amazing and vast. The quality and quantity of activities that are offered through the 'Onna' club is eye-opening. From Ju-Jitsu, boxing, fencing, archery, walking, cycling and more. I can't praise and thank Sensei Mumtaz enough for her role in community service and turning so many people's lives around for the better.
