Positive atmosphere. My daughter's confidence in herself has gone up. She wants to be here. Master Harrington's ability to see all the good and bad qualities and use them to help her move forward is unbelievable.

I love the classes and the instructors. I signed up for the 16 week class, however I have not been attending as i should. The contract was very clear on how many times you must attend. As much as I would like to quit, because I don’t go, I guess I will have to get fit. Well played fit smart. Lol

I had a very poor business experience with this place as well. We had originally signed my son up for a 3 month contract and over the 3 months as he progressed he wanted to go into more advanced classes more often. To do this we signed a new contract that was on a tablet and was not explained to us at all! When summer came, he wanted to play outdoors more and play basketball, when I tried to reduce the number of classes per week I was told we were locked into a 3 year contract that could not be cancelled or reduced and that we owed the entire amount!!! We felt completely scammed and did not want to go in there again! In addition, they were always offering the kids very expensive weapons/tools to try during class and our son would always be begging for us to purchase whatever new thing he tried during class. We had even ordered a bow staff that we never actually received. Steer clear of this place or if you do READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

Was not happy at all with my experience. I ordered gloves my very first day I joined and never recieved. In fact many of members ordered gloves that they never got. I continued to ask for a refund, only to be told "I don't know how" ended up canceling after 16 weeks and still didn't recieve gloves. Some classes attended were never added to computer. Thankfully I went enough to make up for those missing classes or I would've been locked into a year contract. Much too over priced for what they offer. 60 dollars a month for a 30 minute class 3 times a week is ridiculous. You recieve meal plans emailed to you that you can Google yourself. You join n they never check your weight again. People are better off joining a different gym for the money. I do not recommend.

I am not "bashing" the school by any means. But I am bashing the way they do business. Back in November, we signed up for the Kickboxing classes through a "club consultant" by the name of Lenny that put on a class at Xcelsior. I signed two contracts, one for me and one for my daughter. We went for a few weeks, and they were great. But then they moved to a different location, and we were not able to make the classes, it was just too far for us. What I did not realize, because it was never explained, if we did not attend 3 classes a week, we were locked into a 12 month contract. I found this in the very fine print. So now I will have to pay $118 for a service that we are not using. When we were informed that we were signing a 16 week contract. I have contacted the school and they say there is nothing they can do about this, they have not been helpful at all. I know I am not the only one that this has happened to. Just a heads up for others, be careful when signing a contract, READ THE FINE PRINT, because they do not explain everything.
