Variety of classes throughout the entire day so you can train regardless of work schedule, one of the only martial arts gyms I’ve trained with open bag work sessions and a full gym with squat racks to be used whenever you want. Love the place.
Posted 1 year agoSomething fun to look forward to after work. And you can change up the classes and try different things. Makes me a better person when I attend classes
Posted 1 year agoFirst day was on 3/31/25. I have been consistent since then and will do my best to make it to each class. Kaeleen have a great tour and breakdown of the operations. Coach Jackson and Steve are amazing Muay Thai instructors! Anyone who’s looking to make a lifestyle change and switch up the cardio routine, this place I highly recommend! Coach Brian was also a big help and getting things together for me and setting me up.
Posted 1 year agoMelvin here X3 Sports is an amazing gym for boxing and kickboxing! The coaches are knowledgeable, motivating, and really push you to improve. The classes are high-energy, challenging, and perfect for all skill levels. Whether you're training for fitness or competition, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the community is supportive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to level up their training! 🥊🔥
Love the gym and overall great facility for martial arts
Super nice facility, all coaches are super knowledgeable, and the staff is always helpful and kind.
X3 sports is the quintessential fight gym. Every time I walk in I am greeted by professional athletes and every day athletes that help make each other better. The staff and instructors are professional, and world-class athletes who share their knowledge willingly. I often wonder if the term iron sharpens iron originated from the gym. Training here is the best decision I’ve made. Simply put if you want to get better, Live healthier, and feel the best you’ve ever felt get a membership at this gym.
The X3 Inman Park team’s commitment to self improvement, consistent elevation and focus on health and strategy is impeccable! Thank you so much Mr. Phill and Coach Brandon for your consistent excellence and motivating members to stay focused on their journey to self improvement. Job well done.!!!
A Great and friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and looking forward to coming more often.
Great place to workout in group settings for for total body engagement. Also, great coaches, shout out @Olivia!
Coach Jackson is the best. The impact wrap is becoming a fast favorite of mine! Love my kickboxing class and classmates.
Coach Jackson is AMAZING..I love taking his class. The Impact wrap is exhilarating one of my favorites of his weekly routine
I was a member for a few years and really enjoyed my time there. Coach O (O=Olivia) is the best. She is so knowledgeable, smart, and energetic. She provides good insights and workouts and does not play around! You will see results with her either with PT or her classes.
I highly recommend Olivia as a personal trainer. Her knowledge in Exercise Science keeps the weight training varied and tailored to my specific needs. Plus she’s a very motivating coach!
This gym has been nothing but amazing for me and my fitness goals. They have all that I require to become a better version of myself! Shout-out to Harry H., Olivia M., & NaQuia their expertise and motivation is a driving force for allowing me to thrive. If you are seeing this comment and are thinking of joining a gym, look no further, they will have what you are looking for.
X3 is a great all around gym for old school meet new school workouts. Harry one of the boxing coaches is great and really pours his knowledge into his students.
I absolutely love this gym! Even after being gone for two years, this gym still feels like home. I especially love boxing with Harry Hooper. He really takes the time to demonstrate great technique and conditioning so that you not only get a great cardio workout, but you’re doing strength and resistance training all at the same time. If you haven’t taken a class here yet, what are you waiting for?!?
Ive been a member of X3 for about three years now, and I can't say enough good things about this gym! Olivia is absolutely fantastic! Her classes are consistently high-energy and challenging, yet she ensures they cater to all fitness levels. She is very knowledge and always provides modifications and tips to help everyone maximize their workout. Olivia's positive attitude and motivational style keep me coming back. I highly recommend X3.
I’ve been going to X3 for four years and it’s become one of my favorite places. Jiu Jitsu and the community there give something to look forward to everyday and something to still compete in my late 20s. Their fast track class coached by Coach Olivia is second to none.
I have been training Jackson for a few months now. He is great! I am much stronger than when I started. Jackson is encouraging, pushes me to do more, and is great at adapting to where I am at each day.
Great gym with super friendly staff and coaches and a diverse offering of classes. Did personal training here for about a year with Olivia and had a tremedous experience. Reached new personal bests and had a lot of fun while doing it. A lot of focus on form and execution to drive performance. The program worked very well and Olivia found that perfect balance of pushing hard without making it a chore. Would highly recommend the gym and coaches here.
Love this gym so much! Has everything anyone could ever be interested in for athletics. I attended one of Coach Olivia’s HIT classes and it was the best workout I have ever had! The enthusiasm and motivation that she has constantly is invigorating. She is always there to help you out on your form when necessary and will always push you to work hard! One of the best coaches I have learned from!!!
I have attended one of Olivia's X3 workouts and it was so challenging but was extremely rewarding. I didn't think I would be able to keep up with the intensity and duration of the class post labrum hip surgery. Her encouragement and words of motivation are the reason I followed through. After, I felt amazing and felt that I had accomplished so much more than I would have on my own. I would continue to attend Olivia's classes as it allowed me to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of.
I’ve been going to X3 for a couple months now and do the fast track classes with Olivia. I have about 6 years of experience as a boxing trainer so I have a decent pulse on what’s a quality workout — Olivia‘s workouts are some of the most challenging and well-crafted workouts I’ve ever been through. Highly recommend!
LOVE this gym! They have great classes in a variety of modalities that are sure to help you reach your fitness goals! The weight room has great equipment and there is a class to help you lift with good form and intensity. The Powertrack programming is well rounded and gives me a solid routine every time I go into the gym. There are also great personal trainers on staff for your specific goals. Olivia developed a program for my roller derby goals and pushed me to step outside my comfort zone. She really helped me get back into a routine of fitness. So glad I found X3!
I got my fitness start at X3. I loved being able to do kickboxing and HIIT classes. I had some fantastic coaches who got me to where I am now. Coach Olivia was by far one of the best. Her workouts were tough but so effective! she was so encouraging, pushed me to be my best, and when I decided to become a certified personal trainer myself, she cheered me on. I attribute much of my success as a trainer to my time at X3. I honestly would not be where I am today with the coaches at X3
I've been going here for a while. Olivia is an amazing trainer. She is so invested in the workouts and does things that are challenging with all the kindness. Highly recommend her classes!
I began my weight training sessions with Olivia in December. She is so knowledgeable, so attentive to who I am and what I need and I have seen fabulous results. I feel stronger and more energetic, and a lot of it is due to weight training that I incorporated into my aerobic workouts. As a senior, weight training is really important and Olivia is versatile in what we do together. She also has a very interesting and fun personality so there’s no boredom during the weight training sessions. I highly recommend her.
X3 is a great gym! I’ve seen great results since joining as a member and enjoy every class I take! i signed up for personal training sessions, and Coach Olivia has been the absolute best! Her expertise and personalized sessions have yielded amazing results! Highly recommend!
I have thoroughly enjoyed the two and a half years I have spent as a member of X3. To start, the location is in a perfect spot, easily accessible from the Beltline. The gym also includes all necessary equipment for beginners who are just starting their fitness journeys, to elite martial artists who are preparing for their next fight. With that said, I think what separates this gym from others is the trainers. Olivia is an incredible trainer, not only bringing a workout that will leave you dog tired, but creates a fun enthusiastic atmosphere surrounding it. She's simultaneously great at guiding beginners as needed through workouts, but also pushing more advanced athletes with increasingly difficult workouts. She is also willing to listen and adjust workouts at her students requests. Whenever someone asks me to suggest a trainer, she's my first recommendation. Jackson is not only a great Muay Thai coach, but also has an unparalleled depth of knowledge in multiple martial arts. He's a fantastic coach, who has gotten all of his students into the best shape of their lives. What I appreciate about him most is that he allows his students to be themselves. He has his own style and methods, yet, he is completely comfortable not only allowing his students to deviate, but embracing his students' strengths to help them become the best fighters they can be. This is a fantastic gym, who I would recommend to anyone looking to learn Muay Thai or simply incorporate a more consistent workout routine into their daily lives.
A great local gym spot! Highly recommend the Fast Track classes that Olivia teaches! They are by far the best workout in the city and she is constantly changing up the workouts so they don't feel mundane. I have been going to her class specifically for over a year and I don't think I've ever been bored of her workouts. I have also been doing private trainings with Olivia and couldn't recommend those more either! She listens to what my goals are and continues to push me until I hit them. I have gained SO much strength over the past year, it's incredible. She takes time to write a workout plan for you and coaches you through the movements to ensure that you're doing everything correctly to avoid any injuries. She is always pushing me and showing me just how strong I really am! 10/10 she is the one to go to at X3!
I love the different class options available. The level of energy the trainers bring add to the experience. Every fast track class I take of Olivia’s is full of energy and the diversity in her workouts keeps it challenging and fun.
I love X3, been going for over 2 years. Kickboxing is a blast with Rica on Saturdays. My fav class is Fast Track with Olivia. She is a tough badass and makes you sweat but also coaches you to do your best and show you how to get the best out of your workout. She’s also hilarious and knows far too many DMX lyrics.
Awesome gym! I have been a member for over 5 years and it has everything I need. The coaches are fantastic, particularly Olivia MacMillan - her fast track and power track classes are amazing!
"I am extremely grateful for the exceptional training experience with Olivia at X3 Sports Inman Park. Her professionalism and expertise have truly transformed my body dynamics. Olivia's dedication to her craft is evident in every session, and her tailored workouts have helped me achieve significant progress in my fitness journey. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking to reach their fitness goals and experience a positive change in their physical well-being. Thank you, Olivia, for your outstanding guidance and support!"
I absolutely love this gym and have been a member for years. Everyone has always been both supportive and consistent and the energy is brilliant!! I am always in fast track with Olivia who has been a fabulous instructor and knows how to push you to another level!!
I started attending kickboxing classes at X3 in 2018 because I lived nearby and staff was So welcoming! Have since dedicated my training my to BJJ daily and fast track for additional conditioning. Though, I moved to West Midtown BJJ training, I still enjoy fast track classes and training with Coach Olivia. Will be back for those! She’s motivating and makes sure your technique in the various exercises are correct, safe and efficient. She’s also very invested in her clients and makes sure to get to know their personal goals. Five stars for coach Liv!!
Olivia is the best trainer! She has really great routines for the fast track class, and was really helpful when I started lifting weights. I would definitely have given up on that if she hadn’t been there to encourage me, modify things, and build my confidence in the correct techniques and simple things like how to set up the barbell. Highly recommend checking out her classes or booking a private session if you’re a female looking to improve your cardio/strength training!
I love X3 I’m there 6 times a week! Olivia is amazing I love taking her Fast Track class!
Shout Out To Liv @X3!!! Her Work Is Remarkable And She Definitely Makes Sure You Get The Results You’re Looking For. She Is The Main Reason I Committed To The Gym. I Highly Recommend That YOu Go To Her Fast Track & Kickboxing Workout Classes!! Thank Me Later
I’ve been a member of this gym for over 12 years and have seen a lot of trainers come and go! There’s only been a few that are as amazing as Olivia. Her workouts are not only great EVERYTIME but she ensures we understand why we’re doing said workout, what part of the body it’s helping, how important stretching and after care is and is able to inform us on the nutritional piece!! She’s such a blessing to X3 and such a light to my day when I come in and see her. If you haven’t done so already make sure you take one of her classes!!
I have yet to beat the workout experience I achieve at X3 sports. It offers amazing training programs with second to none coaches like Olivia. If you’re looking for an engaging way to push yourself I’d highly recommend
I’m so happy to be a member of X3 sports at Inman park. Love taking classes with kickboxing/ Fast track instructor Olivia aka “ LIV”
I have been a member of X3 for almost 2 years and it has been the best experience! The atmosphere is always upbeat and the trainers are great! Olivia M. has been my main trainer since I started, and honestly she's the reason I still love going! She always challenges me, creates the best circuits and lifts, brings unmatched energy, and creates a judge-free environment to work hard and have fun! Highly recommend taking any of her classes, and you will 100% come back for more! Love this gym!
I joined X3 almost a year ago after moving to Inman Park. I started attending Olivia’s classes and absolutely love them. She challenges me every time while ensuring my technique is safe. Although it is a group fitness class, she makes the workout feel intimate and personalized. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and she always keeps the classes fresh and engaging. We need more trainers like Olivia!!!
I’ve been apart of X3 Sports since 2017 and it’s been such a great experience. Especially taking classes with Coach Olivia! She makes classes fun and always motivates me to be the best version of myself. Definitely recommend taking a class with Coach Olivia!!
Been coming to X3 Sports for the past 6 months now, best decision I've ever made. My Muay Thai coach Jackson is one of a kind—his expertise and dedication have truly transformed my training. The environment is welcoming, and the community is incredibly supportive. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get in shape and learn martial arts.
The X3 facility at Inman Park has been life-changing. Recently, I went sober, and it has been an incredible place for me to channel my energy. Everything starts with the body. Without health, the rest of life can be burdensome. Thanks to my wonderful coaches Harry, Jackson, and Olivia, I've been able to reach a higher potential than I ever knew was possible. Thank you, guys! Highly recommend for people who want to grow mentally and physically, or have ever been interested in combat sports.
Coach Jackson is a great leader, def love the sport and understands what setting the tone for newbies is about! Thank you brother
Love x3 been here for a long time he best coach in my option is Jackson been training with him for a long time not only a good person but a good mentor
My 7-year-old has been doing JuiJitsu at X3 with Coach Felipe for nearly a year. He loves it and so do I! He’s learning discipline and listening skills. Each week they learn or review certain moves, practice in pairs, and roll. There’s occasionally time for games, but the focus is on instruction and learning JuiJitsu skills.
I joined this gym only a few months ago and it’s hands down the best gym experience I’ve had! NaQuia is incredibly attentive and has helped me with any questions I’ve had with my membership!
During my vacation, I had the chance to train at a few gyms. It really opened my eyes to how incredibly lucky I am to call X3 my home gym. The experience and dedication of BJJ coaches Tony, Felipe, and Fabio are truly exceptional. Their teaching methods are both innovative and highly effective. I can’t express enough gratitude for the positive influence they have on my training.
I love this Gym! The coaches are very helpful and go through each step. They pay attention to a your progress. Would recommend!
Since moving out of Georgia a few years ago, one of the main things that I miss is X3 Sports. I have been unable to find a gym that even compares to what X3 provides. From the variety of classes, the inviting community, the skill and knowledge of the coaches, and cleanliness of the gym spaces, X3 is the full package.
I have been going to this gym consistently for the past 3 months and it’s the best Boxing/ Kickboxing gym in Atlanta. Harry recently came on board and absolutely took over as an extraordinary coach. Best coach in my opinion. I go to the morning and night sessions and try to go at least 5/6 times a week. Harry be having us sweating putting in work. Intense incredible workouts. I’m also getting in the best shape of my life and we just getting started. Also the sales manager Kaylene is the best in the business. She is incredible and kind to everyone in the gym. Best Gym in Atlanta . I am for sure a lifer. Appreciate the whole staff! Let’s get this work!
Boxing classes are amazing with coach harry, I learn something new everyday, great environment great customer service with staff. You should try x3 Inman park this summer.
Best gym in my opinion with magnificent teachers and a haven of training equipment and bags, it's literally my favorite playground 😈
You want to lose weight fast and in a cool way? I highly recommend X3. I currently take their Kickboxing and Muay Thai classes. The instructors are all awesome and you leave the Gym feeling like a million bucks. Since January I went from 245 lbs to now (April) 215 lbs.
Every one of the trainers and staff members I have talked to / worked with have been so kind, helpful, patient, and accommodating! Special shout-out to Stephen, Rica, Bryan, AJ, Asim, and Cole. I’m a newbie at X3 but I’m already in love with the kickboxing class experience! Already feeling stronger and so excited, and this is in no small part due to both the hype that the trainers give out and also the helpful tips and introductions other class participants give! Looking forward to my personal growth with X3.
The best bang for your buck martial arts gym in Atlanta bar none. I have checked the pricing of all gyms and this place has the most competitive pricing. Add in the huge variety of classes and schedules to suit your needs and it's a slam dunk option for all. From the ones who want to compete to ones who want to just get fit, this place is a great place to attend. Coaches are knowledgeable and everyone is always willing to help you out. Definitely recommend!
Great gym and friendly staff. The instructors are able to cater to all skill levels and help beginners progress quickly. Features a full powerlifting area that can accommodate a surprising amount of people!
Well, It’s been a week. I enjoy X3. Everyone is nice and talkative lol. Usually, I would normally fade into the background until feel comfortable but they see you. They have great people that bring the introverts out. They want you to succeed. The environment is clean and nice. That’s something I love. The classes are great and you can take as many as you want. You get your money worth for sure. I do think that the membership contract is a bit rough but if you are able to be consistent and come frequently ID recommend signing up. Safe zone for all body types not just the skinnies & body builders.
My first time there and I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and encouraging the staff was, especially Jack, Wes, and Murat! My friend recommended this location and I was a bit hesitant. You go to gyms and are a bit intimidated, especially for someone like me who does not really attend workouts or the gym. When I walked in, I was not greeted by anyone at first, the front desk ladies did not really say hello and I'm sure I looked lost and in need of assistance. Besides that, everyone else who greeted me, showed me around and helped me made it such a great experience, especially with my first boxing class with Wes. I had a lot of fun and signed up for a membership. Great atmosphere and super motivational!
X3 sports has amazing classes. I have been going to the Inman Park location. I love the fast track classes for amazing HIIT and other workouts! I have also taken kickboxing, boxing, and power track which are also amazing classes! The workouts are truly unparalleled to any other workout classes I’ve ever taken. The workouts are intense but the team support and environment is very motivating.
Tons of options for classes and the coaches take the time to actually get to know you. There’s a strong sense of community here. Completely unlike other gyms where you just keep your headphones on the whole time without getting to know anyone else at the gym.
X3 Sports has a wide range of services and learning material to offer. Martial artists, fitness enthusiasts and those new to fitness will all find their place. The X3 team is pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful and passionate about their work. In more ways than one, I could not have asked for a better gym to learn.
I’ve never had a gym experience like the one I’ve had at X3 Sports. The personalities of the people who work here are warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental, and it’s so easy to immediately click with them. The classes themselves are also accommodating and you aren’t made to feel bad if you need a breather— this means a lot to me as someone who is anxious about getting in shape. I’ve only taken kickboxing classes as of right now but with the amenities they have, I plan to take full advantage of my new membership 😍 All in all, I’m so glad that I joined here rather than at Planet Fitness like I was originally planning to! (Special shout-out to Eddie and Coach Rica bc they rock)
First time ever going and the staff was extremely polite. Ricardo was the person that helped me get set up and was very informative and genuine. Walter was my instructor that along should say a lot. Very patient and a wonderful instructor overall. If you're hesitate about going don't be you will not regret it.
This is by far the best gym I’ve been to. The trainers are excellent and the kickboxing classes were absolutely amazing. I was able to go at my own pace and slowly improve with the help of the instructors. I’m so sad to have left this gym due to a move and truly miss it but if I’m ever back in Atlanta this is where I’ll be going.
When signing up I was informed I would recieve a free month for a certain amount of points earned. They did not honor the agreement. Very unsatisfied with customer service... After review was corrected I am satisfied with the gym honoring agreement. If you're looking for a gym full of positive trainers, coaches & instructors with the endless motivation to push for results I would highly recommend this gym. If you're serious about your health, its a long term gym not short.
I've been going to X3 Sports at Inman Park since January of this year. I can easily say that I've enjoyed every second of it. Not only do you get an amazing workout with the staff, but they also make every second of it feel like a good time. The coaches are super friendly and always want to help you with everything you need. 1000/10 would suggest this gym to everyone I know!
I go to Rica’s classes. All of the instructors are great, but she is my absolute favourite! Her classes are super fast paced and challenging and her energy level is great! She also does a really great job at making sure all levels feel welcome by modifying techniques based on your skill level. And she’s also just a really nice and helpful person!!!
Overall great gym. Very versatile in that it offers many types of fitness classes, with well trained instructors, that would appeal to members from any background—beginner or avid athlete. There’s enough free weight equipment outside of this as well in a separate area for those who want to strictly lift weights whenever they would like. Class wise, I enjoy kickboxing the most (for the cardio). Fast track is a circuit training class that is fun also. They even offer rolling and yoga. For the price, you can’t beat it.
I started out my X3 Sports membership at the West Midtown location because it's closer to where I work and I know some of the employees through my job. When I finally tried the Inman Park location last week, all of the employees were extremely helpful and kind. The sales manager was at his office when I scanned my key tag and asked the front desk employee where the kickboxing class was. He took the time out of his day to give us a quick tour of the whole gym before class started. I've had fabulous interactions with the staff at both locations I've been to and the classes are great!! If you've been considering joining, stop considering and just do it! You'll be extremely happy with the outcome!!
The trainers actually know who I am and talk to me. I don't just feel like I'm a member at a gym, I feel like I'm a part of something....almost like a family. It's the reason why I still go to x3--when I signed up I lived five minutes away but then I moved and now it takes me 25-30 minutes to get there but it's worth the drive because I love the atmosphere and people so much.
X3 is top-notch. When you work out here you compete with the strong and fit people who are there. The place is an inspiration. When you are there, you naturally want to work out harder and better!!! I just rejoined after being gone for three years (out of town). I was looking for a place that would make me work out better and harder. I found some other places that felt like you were workout in a apartment building fitness room. X3 provides great classes, tough facilities, and qualified/enthused trainers/staff. Go to X3 if you have a desire to get fit and look good.
I love x3. This is going to be a really positive review. Everyone is sweet, approachable, and try to make you feel at home as much as possible. They remember your name, they encourage you, and they kick your ass while at it. I really enjoy the kickboxing and boxing classes. You start to figure out the differences in each instructors' emphasis after a while. You'll want to throw up in Justin's, Rafael focuses on form. Rica's seem to be a lot of cardio. Nick has a system. All of them will really push you. I also love the ongoing partnerships x3 has with multiple small businesses as well as the perk system (rewarded for going to the gym? Yes please). The amount of effort x3 goes to keep people involved far surpasses any other gyms I know of.
As someone who used to be in much better shape, but needed to get back there, Fast Track was the perfect solution. The classes are tough, but you never stop moving, and in one hour you get an incredible workout. There is ZERO intimidation - while you will be pushed to your limits, no one will ever make you feel bad for being a little more cautious as you work to achieve your goals. These classes are fun and engaging. The only motivation I need is to show up at the start time - X3 takes care of the rest!
I actually look forward to going to X3 Sports in Inman Park!! I've been a member for about 2 months now. I feel like I've made more progress in the last two months at X3 than I did in the 12 months prior working out alone at my office gym. The experienced trainers really know how to put together a 60 minute workout. Like a lot of people, I don't have a lot of free time to spend at the gym. Whether you try out a Fast Track class, or Kickboxing, or the awesome Power Track classes... you will leave knowing that you made the most of your time in the gym. Other Pros: - Clean facility. - Convenient location. - Super friendly staff and instructors. - Great atmosphere (killer music selections). - Ridiculous amount of classes to choose from. Cons: - Your body will be so sore from all of the amazing exercise that you get at X3 Sports. (this isn't really a con)
Was a member at LA Fitness before. Switched 2 weeks ago and love it! More expensive than the big box gyms/LA, but it isn't a big box gym. You can go take hour long classes as many times a day as your body can handle, assuming the type of membership you have allows it, of course. They are super friendly and helpful and are great at pushing you to get everything out of your workout. They also have a free monthly body evaluation and goal setting session. You wont get taken care of like that at a big gym. Fun atmosphere, great camaraderie with the other members and trainers. I leave every time feeling great with a smile. You want a major life changer? GET TO IT!
I love x3 sports! I've been going here for a few months now and the classes are never the same. Great staff along with a clean gym. I have started seeing results and it makes me want to work harder. The trainers really push you and go above and beyond to make sure you are doing the exercises the right way. They are awesome!
I just joined X3, and love it so far! The kick boxing classes are a big stress relief and the fast track class is an amazing workout. Everybody who works there is friendly & knowledgeable, plus the people training there are supportive (for example, by cheering others on to complete workouts during particularly hard drills).
This is the hardest, best thing I have ever done. I frequent the Inman Park location and it's one of my favorite places to be. The staff is friendly, helpful and wonderful. Before I started this gym, I read a few negative reviews about cost or billing, but I find both to be non-issues. Sure, we are on a budget, but the cost is more than worth the results. This is a gym membership you will actually USE. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable and won't hesitate to help you. They are as invested in your success as you are, which is a great feeling. It can be an intense workout, but there's no cliques or intimidation. Everyone- from newbies to people that have been doing this forever- struggle a bit. My enjoyment and enthusiasm inspired my hubby to try it out and, he, too, is hooked. I recommend this for anyone and everyone. It's the nicest thing you can do for yourself!!
Have been going to this gym for a few months and I love it. I attend mostly the boxing classes but have been to the fast track and kickboxing classes as well. This place is big enough to have good equipment and good trainers, but small enough to actually get to know people. I had tried so many things to get in shape and had failed miserably at all of them because I HATE working out. But at X3 I don't feel like I'm working out, I'm just having fun.
Love this gym! I have belonged to many gyms throughout the years, but this is the first one that actually makes me look forward to working out. Not only do the trainers keep the classes fresh and new, but they push you to get the best workouts of your life. Can't be afraid to break a nail or sweat at this gym and I love it!
Every class I take there kicks my butt. But that is a good thing for me. I now have to go shopping for smaller clothes. I have John as a personal trainer and he is the best trainer I've ever had. I've been a member at numerous gyms but never got the results I wanted. This place however I could go to every day and not get tired of it. It's hard workouts but I like the intensity. My body has changed for the best. My boyfriend and I joined in June of 09 and every penny we have spent there has been more then worth it.
X3 Sports is an excellent gym for anyone seeking a transformative fitness experience. All you need to do is show up and put in the effort, and Olivia, the fitness guru, will take care of the rest to help you achieve your goals. Her Fast Track workouts will get you in the best shape of your life, and her Power Track program will make you the strongest you’ve ever been in just a few weeks. Real work equals real results. The only reason I'm not giving this location 5 stars is that the weight room is shared with the apartment complex. There seems to be some confusion about which areas are reserved for X3 members only. This means that areas typically designated/reserved for my workout as a member, especially in the weight room, are often crowded with non-members. This wasn’t an issue in the past, but lately, it has become increasingly difficult to work out in the weight area during certain hours of the day.
I just started going to X3 @InmanPark Day 3 and here’s my opinion: it’s not bad. Prices are cheaper then some of the other private boxing gyms in atlanta BUT the contract is binding so if your not going to be dedicated; this is NOT the gym for you. I signed a two year contract with X3 Sports and they are going to ride MY WAVE until my two years are up, i decided that before I even stepped foot in the building, BUT for those who still aren’t sure come see for yourself dwag, if it’s right for you or not, I’m interested in my own progress like losing weight, self discipline and defense, and staying consistent so I can be dedicated to my own goals outside of boxing, that’s why I joined. BUT if you want to play & laugh while working out with friends-join planet fitness it’s $10 Way, Way, Way-cheaper vs $99 to be determined in achieving an actual fitness goal. (I’ll post a picture later)
If you’re concerned about COVID, just be ready because nobody cares whether you’re wearing a mask or not, given the kind of activities that are being performed inside. However if you’re vaxxed and comfortable with people not wearing masks around you, should be cool then. There’s no sanitizers in/around the floor either. You can only find them upfront at the desk. Staff and crew are all nice and friendly. I’m a beginner, level 0 in boxing but they’re understanding and patient with me. I’ve only been 3x to the class so, so far it’s all I can say. I’ve joined fast track once and it was good. Instructor was also very helpful and takes time to explain the routine to everyone or to anyone with questions. Environment overall is welcoming and encouraging. They acknowledge the hard work you put in each time.
Pros: Great price for unlimited classes, available often throughout the day, with a variety of trainers who emphasis a variety of different skills. A weights and aerobic room is also available all open hours. Locker room with showers has also been great. Cons: 12 month contracts with rough penalties to exit the contract (pay half of what's left, and you have to cancel at least 3 days before your billing date to not be charged for next month). It can get very busy in the evening classes. And the level of enthusiasm or knowledge of fitness/athletic training (nor lack of) can greatly vary amount the trainers or managers, so I definitely pick the classes I attend based on the trainers. Overall, if you can commit to a 12 month contract, and want a variety of high intensity classes, it's worth it.
I’ll start by saying I enjoyed coming here. they offer many classes and have quality trainers. However, due to not living in the area for a while I’ve been trying to cancel my membership yet they keep charging me $159 freeze fee. Dealing with membership services has been a real headache so proceed with caution. I’m doing this in the hopes that it will get someone’s attention that can refund me and finally cancel my membership at the agreed upon amount Edit: After filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau they’ve responded and we’re good now. I reiterate, proceed with caution
First the BJJ classes here are amazing, the instructors are awesome and great for new people. The other students really help you out too. I learned so much already, its great. Kickboxing class is an excellent cardio work out and you can set your own pace. I like the fact you can go to any X3 gym in the city (but check their individual schedules) but its a bit pricey. I reccomend taking multiple classes and getting your money's worth. They have drinks and snacks you can buy which is cool. Really really disappointed in the boxing coach here. He doesn't actually "teach" anything. I've had 5-6 boxing lessons before at another boxing gym in the past. They first teach you foot work, then the proper way to jab, proper way to cross ect.. Here he just expects you to just know the combinations and just do it. It will not help you progress, just develop bad habits. Haven't had a chance to take the Muay Thai class but it looks really detailed with lots of sparring (huge plus) They train competition fighters here but no one looks like they are trying to kill each other. They have a big work out room open anytime during hours which is cool, bathrooms and showers are clean. So 3.5 over all Even if you are already in shape, or martial arts as a sport isn't your thing. I reccomend everybody taking some kind of self defense. Never know when it will save your life one day.
At least twice a month an instructor doesn’t show up or the doors are locked in the morning when a class is scheduled. Unacceptable. When the people show up the gym is great and I can’t complain. But your people must show up.
Posted 1 year agoOverall I had a good experience here. I mostly take fast track 2-3 times a week. Olivia, Kamdon, and Adrien are my favorite trainers and it's been solid overall. My main complaint is their buggy app which didn't let me sign in for 10 MONTHS since I signed up. They tried to change my password several times, but eventually gave up because they didn't understand the problem cause I guess they have no IT department to refer to. That meant I had to go through "What's your last name again" "spell that for me one more time" with the front desk associates whenever I wanted to go work out. Lo and behold, I was able to sign into the app after changing my password today. This is almost a year into my membership. Seriously, y'all should've had someone look into it long ago. Also, I had my car booted once because the adjacent lot was 100% full so I had to park on the top floor. They basically just told me I was SOL.
Classes are their main focus. Small weight lifting gym in the back that’s shared with the apartments upstairs. Equipment is not taken care of. Allen screws loose on a lot of bumper plates. Not a lot of accessories for cable machines (missing basics like a straight bar attachment, v shape tricep press down, ect), rubber coming off dumbbells. No real specialty bars beyond one hex trap bar and one easy curl bar. If you’re looking for a weightlifting focused place in Inman Park, this isn’t it.
I do not think it is worth going to X3 especially if you are wanting to learn technique. It is great exercise and you burn tons of calories but for someone who already lift weights and exercises, this is just extra cardio. I do think it is overpriced and the year long contract is how they get you. There is also an unreasonable cancellation fee. If you choose to cancel early, you will have to pay half of the remaining number of months you have left in the contract. I wish they did not have a contract. I did have a good experience there and the trainer, Gabe, was fantastic. He was cool as hell and treated us with respect and was very willing to teach. Again, I am looking for somewhere else that has a better price and offering.
Great friendly trainers and staff. However the lack of space, focus on group exercise, and limited hours make it difficult to come in and work out on a limited or odd schedule. While the staff is very eager to sign you up for a membership, there is a lack of transparency about what will happen when you eventually part ways with this gym. You'll be told nobody can help you with membership cancellation, then you will be provided a lovely 1-888...... phone number to wait on hold for several minutes. Eventually someone answers, and they are very helpful in providing you with details about your membership that were probably not mentioned when signing up. Good Luck!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.ALL CONTRACTS ARE ARBITRARILY BINDING. Read the fine print in the contract because the agents will not tell you about this part. About a year ago I got a membership from INMPARK. I specifically asked if there were any cons or drawbacks to the membership but I was only told that advantages. The agents there excluded the fact that these contracts are legally binding. To add insult to injury I was only offered the 1 YEAR AND 2 YEAR memberships. I later found out that there are 3 MONTH AND 6 MONTH memberships. During the signing, I did not appreciate how one of the salespeople urged me to sign when I wanted to read everything before signing. “Everything I said is all in the contract no need to read all that. We are cool I’m looking out for you” Read the terms and conditions. Long story short , I signed for the membership, now I am learning a valuable lesson of reading before signing. The fault is my own but X3 at INMAN PARK HAS GRIMY AND MONEY HUNGRY SALESPEOPLE.
I asked plainly for the “moving cancellation” to be explained to me. The salesperson told me everything he wanted to say, and nothing I needed to hear. Now I’m signed on for a gym membership thats just as expensive as celebrity gyms in California!! (And this is NOT that.) Their premises are cramped, smelly, and all around unpleasant to be in. Especially when you remember the person “helping you” is robbing you blind. DO NOT SIGN UP.
So apparently our review was altered!!! It is not a great gym, matter of fact it’s a huge scam! This is what our review was changed to …. This location is excellent! The gym has a great environment. It’s fun and friendly. The instructors Rica and Daniel bring heaps of knowledge and skill to the table. Charmaine at the front desk is very helpful and organized. All around great experience! -Phil W. SCAM!!!!!!
While I loved my time at X3 sports in 2019 (yes over a year and a half ago), DO NOT JOIN IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY! I have attempted for the past year and a half to cancel my membership and they are STILL charging me. They switched financial companies as soon as I tried to cancel the first time, I called the facility and spoke directly with them within the allotted time to cancel my membership, and nothing happened. I have been charged the $116 per month for the past year and a half without my permission. Also, I was told they put notes in my file and they did not keep a record. They want your money no matter what and will do anything, including go behind your back, to keep it. NOT WORTH IT!!
FYI, they give people Perkville Points ( which are points to use towards merchandise and other items in the gym) for giving 5 star reviews!!!!! I used to love this gym- filled with great energy and solid instructors. The gyms have a super high turnover rate with their staff members mostly instructors and they have started hiring instructors with lower end training! I have been a member for over 8 months and this is the 3rd time I have encountered a super rude staff member! and it is really frustrating. When I first began my membership the instructors here kind, knowledgeable and willing to show right form, techniques, and movement. Within the last 5 months each gym has undergone major changes within their staff and the costumer service has really gone down. It looks like there is no uplifting moral within the staff, and that is transpiring into the members. I pay 115 a month, that on the high side of gym memberships, comparable to Orange Theory, Fly Wheel, Fit Wit, and other higher end gyms in the area. I joined X3 because I felt the energy was real and had a solid staff for a solid gym. I felt disrespected, and dishonored by a place that has "Real Training"in their motto. I believed in the gym, and did share referrals and brought people in. However it can't be just a sales tactic, it's not all about the money, since members can just leave and never comeback. Great Relationships build great work and success! From other members as well its comical that you are offering Perkville points for 5 star ratings, when the gyms have deserved 2 stars these past few months. Your members won't market you if you don't believe in them and your team!
