I can not praise the staff at WOFA highly enough. My two children loved attending the club for several years but had to sadly leave due to us relocating. Their confidence grew and I love the knowledge that they can defend themselves should the need ever arise thanks to what they have learnt at the club. Unlike most martial arts, the classes are run in a fun but educational environment. I would suggest anyone who is debating attending, to have your free trial session. I can guarantee that you will be made to feel welcome.

My 2 girls participate in the children's class. They learn an art to keep them fit, to teach them discipline and to defend themselves. Both girls love the instructors as they are so friendly and patient with them and they have fun when they are there. I would suggest if you wanted your kids to go and learn some self defence, go along and have a chat with Chris Perry, such a lovely and knowlegable man.

I trained with Chris for many years, only stopping as I moved out of the county. I can say hand on heart that Chris is up there with the best. I've trained with some big names in the JKD and Kali community both here and the US and at no point have I seen anything that you couldn't learn from Chris. WOFA is truly a gem of a club. If you have even toyed with the idea of studying martial arts give it a go. You will not be dissapointed.

I was one of Chris' students between 1995-2003. I've stayed in touch with Chris throughout that time. Chris' knowledge base is unparalleled. His Instructors are first class. I have recently returned to the club as a beginner again. If you are thinking of learning a martial art,but are apprehensive, then this club is for you.- Steve B.

I have been training here for nearly 4 years now. In that time i have learned many self defence techniques. Knife and other weapon dis-arms, boxing, ju jitzu and many more used for real life scenarios. The instructors are down to earth, it is not too strict, very welcoming and I have made good friends here. Both are very knowlegable, what they do not know is not worth knowing. WOFA is about training safe and smart.
