I don't normally write reviews. But West Idaho BJJ definitely is deserving of a five-star review! They have their priorities in the right place. This is a very family-friendly gym. I really appreciate where they put their values. They are laid back about certain things that don't matter, like everybody having to purchase the same uniform. But when it comes to respect for each other and the instructors they have clear, firm boundaries. My children had been learning a lot. Nick and the other teachers have been fabulous with my four kids. It is an orderly gym without the staunchy feel. They are also very transparent about the finances, and in my opinion you get a lot of bang for your buck. I recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn BJJ well and have a good experience in the process.

My oldest son has been going to West Idaho Brazillian Jiu Jitsu for a little over two years, starting when he was four years old. In that time, I have seen his confidence increase, he's making friends, burning energy, learning self discipline and accountability while learning to take direction from his coaches. I highly recommend this gym for adults and kids. Coach Nick and all assistant coaches are amazing. There are so many reasons we make the arduous 35 minute journey one way at least 4 days a week. YOU ALL ARE ROCKSTARS!

West Idaho BJJ offers top notch instruction and filled with amazing people! My two daughters (10 & 8) have been training there for the last 3 1/2 years and have thrived. Their jiu-jitsu game has gotten 10x better and they are consistently competing. WIBJJ has prepared them for every tournament without a doubt. My husband and I also train there, an no matter your level they are very welcoming and encouraging. I have been to other academies and you definitely don't feel welcomed immediately, the way we did at WIBJJ. The owners are great people & truly care about your growth, on all levels. Highly recommend!

Their website says that they have classes 6 days a week but I guess that's only for adults?? 🤔........ because when I was about to sign up, I saw that it was only 4 days a week for smaller children, which is not a big deal... but not fully truthful advertisingv either. I also didn't sign up because I had a horrible time trying to get a hold of the instructor or anyone who works for the building or place and after multiple calls multiple days and multiple text messages only to get no response for over 2 weeks, I decided it probably wouldn't be a good place to communicate with. 😬 They have great reviews, but so far, my experience was not great, but maybe what they lack in advertising and communication they make up for it in teaching and lessons?

This review has been a longtime coming. I’ve been training here for nearly 3 years and feel truly blessed to have a high caliber gym so close to home. I’ve trained at several other BJJ gyms over the years and the instruction here at WIDBJJ is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The main professor is a world champion BJJ athlete and his technical mastery of jiu jitsu is passed on to the coaches and students. The professor that teaches here daily has a deep knowledge of the martial art, its traditions, and competition. I’m 100% satisfied with the instruction, the facility and my training partners. All I’ve done is grow as a person and athlete training here. My only advice to be patient with yourself and respect the journey.
