Warriors Cove has helped me to develop discipline and confidence in myself. It’s been a great way to engage, get fit, and learn MMA from amazing instructors. Highly recommend!
Went here for about 8 months before moving about a year ago -- great gym. I learned a lot in my short stay and I still use many of the techniques taught to me in both standing striking and on ground. The instructors are kind, patient, and encouraging. I made lots of good friends there as well, some of which I am still in contact with, so super solid community. Their belt system is cohesive and you rank up through friendly competition and demonstrating skill, which is an aspect I really like.

I've been training here pretty consistently for a little over a year, now, and it's been truly great. Henry is an excellent instructor, and the technique taught makes sense in the context of a real world, street combat situation. I can't recommend Warrior's Cove enough.

The training, atmosphere, cleanliness, and support here is top tier. I've trained at several gyms over the years and none hold a candle to Warrior's Cove. The coaches take a stake in your training and give you an individualized plan to progress.
This is a great place to become a better, smarter, stronger, and ultimately more capable version of yourself.

Been training at the cove for over a year now and it has been a great experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking to join a Bjj / MMA gym to check it out. The instructors and program are top notch. Only regret is not starting earlier

I’ve been training for the past 4 years. In those 4 years, I’ve learned more about myself than any other period in my life. Doing this taught me tough lessons that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise. I learned that I can truly do anything that I put my mind to, there is no limit to my abilities, so long as I stick with it, and keep on pushing forward. It taught me to be confident in myself and my abilities. Many of my insecurities have gone away, because I’ve been training. It’s also pushed me to become a better leader, and a better person. I cannot recommend this gym enough to people. Whether you’re interested in martial arts, getting into shape, or just not in the best place of mind. I recommend this gym. The instructors are some of the nicest people I’ve met, and extremely helpful. They’re not just interested in you for monetary reasons, they really care about your training and bettering you as a martial artist. One example of this is Henry Wolfbauer. He is the main instructor of this location. When people don’t train for some time, he’ll message them, asking when they’ll next be in. He’s also willing to do private lessons and have one on one time with people, to make sure their technique is solid and their training experience is great. Overall, I think that this is one of the best martial arts gyms out there. Anyone who is interested in martial arts should try this gym out, its worth it, truely.

Can’t say enough good things about this gym! I had no MMA background but was looking for a different type of fitness class to add to my workout and running regimen a couple years ago. I’m so glad I went out of my comfort zone and joined Warriors Cove for their Fitness Kickboxing class! The environment is friendly and the instructors are experienced and attentive to teaching skills and techniques that strengthen and challenge you regardless of your abilities. I enjoy going to class knowing my work pays off and that I will always have fun while putting in the effort. I’ve definitely noted the positive change in my mindset, abilities, and energy levels from committing to these classes. Come check it out and see for yourself!

I started training at the Cove back in 2007 and still continue to train there today. I love the training and have made many lifelong friends there. With the knowledge I gained at the Cove I was able to become an MMA fighter and I had 19 professional fights while representing the Warrior's Cove. I was able to become a full time martial arts instructor there for 8 years and really enjoyed helping adults and kids work towards their goals. I really can't wait until my daughter is old enough to come to the Family MMA program with me so she can learn about overcoming fears, pushing her body and mind past what she thinks is possible, and gaining confidence and the ability to defend herself. See you on the mat!

Warriors Cove is the best gym around. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else. They emphasize on reality based combat and the belt promotions actually mean something.

Great place to train for any level of martial artist. Very knowledgeable instructors. Highly recommend.
I would 100% recommend Warriors Cove in Little Canada to anyone looking for an encouraging and motivating gym environment! I started by going to a trial class at the end of 2021and couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing instructors who’ve helped me gain strength and confidence both in kickboxing and my general fitness abilities. While I’ve only participated in their Fitness Kickboxing classes, I’ve heard great things about the others available. If you’re on the fence, just give it a try- you won’t regret it!

I have been attending Warriors cove for over 2 years and it has been the best decision ive made. The technique is useful for all areas of combat sports and in everyday situations. The instruction by Henry W. has been second to none and I learn something new every class.

I've been going to Warrior's Cove for 9 months and it has become a main component of my weekly routine. Henry the main instructor at Little Canada does a great job at explaining technique and form.
The system is very well rounded for dealing with situations standing up, and on the ground being that it's MMA

I have been training with the warriors cove for many years. The instructors are knowledgeable and provide a safe journey through learning self defense. There is a challenging belt system which makes it rewarding to earn your ranks and over the years I have met and learned from many great martial artists including Rickson Gracie himself.

I’ve been a member here for almost 7 years, taking the fitness kickboxing class exclusively. I had zero martial arts experience when I started and learned a lot from each instructor that ever taught a class. Kickboxing has increased my strength, balance, and flexibility. Also a great stress reliever!
I started kickboxing at Warrior’s Cove in Little Canada 6 months ago. I had zero experience. Since joining I have found nothing but an amazing support system through the instructors and the other class members, no matter what skill level they were at! Whether you want a great workout, or you genuinely want to learn proper kickboxing techniques, this gym will provide. Worth every penny!
This place has been the best thing to happen since sliced bread!

HIGHEST QUALITY TRAINING. This gym is full of talented professionals. Coach Henry is the greatest teacher I’ve ever had, I would highly recommend the Little Canada location. Training here has been critical for my growth as a man. Don’t let the higher belts deceive you; they’re kind and genuine, but will completely destroy you in a combat situation. 10/10 will train here in the future.

Love this place! Started the family classes a couple months ago and its been worth every penny. The flow of each training session makes sense, and I always come away having learned a new skill. It's also a great workout, and the atmosphere is geared towards learning and safety. That being said, there's healthy competition if you want it, and the skills are geared towards real-life, practical self-defense. Being close to 40, I was a little nervous about re-injuring my back or shoulders. But the family class is run in a way that that helps keep injuries to a minimum. I'm hopeful that I can continue to grow and develop in my MMA skills for years to come.

I love Warriors Cove! I've been training at Warriors Cove for 3 years now. Every day has been a challenge, but in the long run its all worth it. Everybody is nice and very welcoming. All the instructor's are great! :)
Cool instructors. Friendly peers. The instruction is great, but I'm looking for a more meaningful experience with martial arts. I'm not satisfied [yet?]. I kind of feel like a walking dollar bill; after the session there's no debriefing or words of wisdom essential to being a martial artist.

Taking money during the corona virus shutdown ( 2months worth). Non- accurate description of the type of level of competition that trains there. Different trainers almost everyday. They are all very nice and polite so there’s that. Just make sure when your talking with the instructor about the gym ask him to slow down on the sales pitch and don’t agree to the contract right away until you have really researched about which gym is right for you.

Read Everything- it's important.
Their website is misleading and a jumbled mess. They have lots of rave reviews from some Police officers on it. I don't buy that at all.
Know what you're looking for and what you want before you sign up. I didn't and I ended up in a long membership that I didn't want to use after about the 2nd or 3rd month. I just wasn't attracted to going there. The gym wasn't a good fit for what I was looking for.
I'll start by saying the gym is clean and the people are friendly (1 star). The instructors are talented and skilled. They're patient and answered questions well (2nd star).
The gym is very basic, an open narrow padded space. There wasn't any intensity. I never learned anything that I could use in a real life situation. There were a lot of middle-high school kids and physically weak, unfit adults looking to develop their self-esteem. It seems like it's geared more for someone who wants a family friendly bjj martial arts experience. It didn't seem like a place for those serious about training MMA.
It's primarily BJJ. Do not expect high level striking lessons here. The striking lessons and drills were really, really bad. I mean bad. Some of the kicking drills were plain silly. I kept thinking how vulnerable these drills would leave a person in an actual fight.
They also have a late arrival punishment warm up. If you're 1 minute late for class they welcome you to the far end of the gym to go through this punishment. And it's brutal which is good for your abs but it also eats up a significant amount of lesson time working through it. I found it childish but then so is being late.
I have a much better understanding of what to look and ask for when I try an MMA gym again and this is the advice I'd like to share here.
1. Know what you want from the gym. Do you want to be pushed, to train hard, train to fight, train to compete? Do you want to get to a level where you'll spar? Or do you want a fun, easy-going hobby? Are you more interested in striking or grappling? Are you more interested in TKD or Karate? You won't find either of those disciplines at an MMA gym. Ask to sit in on a lesson or lessons to see if it's a good fit for you. You're paying significant monthly membership ($200+/month), make sure it's right for you.
2. Make sure you know the class schedule and that it works with your schedule.
3. Ask about and think about the membership. I mean leave the gym and think about it. Don't sign up on the spot. Is there a trial period or do they require a year long membership? I would have requested a 3 month trial to see if I even liked the sport itself regardless of the gym.
4. DO NOT be threatened by pushy sales tactics into signing up on the spot. I felt prey to this tactic at Warrior's Cove. I was told in the intro meeting that if I signed up right then, they'd reduce the cost of membership and the gi significantly. If not, it would be very expensive if I signed up later. I should have thanked him for his time and walked out. They tried a similar tactic on me a month or two later. The head instructor pulled me aside and tried to butter me up with compliments about my quickly developing "skill" and commitment to training. Then he immediately tried selling me on an "advanced" membership. It was insanely more expensive and was never mentioned in the initial membership meeting. He wanted me to commit to the gym for several more years at a significantly raised fee that unlocked extra training access. Again, he tried to pressure me into signing up on the spot with the risk of this offer expiring quickly and then being gone forever or at a far higher price. Thankfully I'd learned my lesson by then and told him no, that I'd need to think about such a big commitment of money and time. He seemed genuinely annoyed with me. This really speaks poorly of this gym and how they conduct their business. Had they not used these sales tactics I would have given this gym far better reviews despite it still not being the right type of gym for me.

Make you sure you understand that when you sign up you are signing up FOR A YEAR. They failed to make sure this was emphasized while I was signing up.
I had a pleasant first experience at warriors cove and decided to join them. I had come in for my free trial session. Afterwards, Ben gave me a couple different plans at different price points - he emphasized the most was that if I joined THAT DAY I would be able to lock in a lower rate and I'd get free MMA gloves. He did not mention that this is for a whole year and I failed to read the part of the contract which said so. After 2 months of paying $150/month, I decided the class wasn't worth it for me and decided to cancel. Ben would not let me and said I would have to put it on hold for $50/month for the remainder of the contract.
Fast forward over 1 year, I'm still getting charged. My first month/payment was in November. Meaning my last $50 should have been in October but I've also been charged now for November, December, and January. I'm trying to get it figured it out with them now but this should have been automatically ended.
During my 2 months there, I did enjoy the kickboxing class I was in, but I decided it wasn't for me. Being in a large group where the instructor just has you run through drills on punching bags, with no sparring, 2-3 times a week for $150 a month, was too expensive for me compared to the other activities I participate in such as bouldering and snowboarding.
My mistake is thinking of them like a gym - they are a school. It is not easy to cancel with them. Had they allowed me to easily end my membership, I would have had a much better experience with them and left a better review.

I enrolled my minor children in classes summer of 2017 4 children in total. I had an very disturbing and unpleasant experience due to a change in my children schedules once school resumed and they no longer desired to attend, plus I expressed a change in my ability to pay to Ben he refused to allow us to withdraw from classes. He took one full withdrawal of over $350.00 and then reluctantly lowered the following months of no attendance by my family to $50.00 despite my repeated protest and a paid sum of over $700.00 he still refused to halt the withdrawals. The only recourse I had was to cancel my bank account that I had for several years because he only accepted bank account and routing number for enrollment. Now I know why!
