    I'm 62. I've had 4 knee surgeries and a hip replacement. My wife said I'm crazy for doing ju jitsu. I'm here to tell you ju jitsu changed my life. I did a full out sprint at training for the first time in 30yrs. I owe so much to ju jitsu. I'm looking forward to continuing my journey with VH. God Bless

    We took a road trip to train at Violent Hippie and are so glad that we did. We were a bit bummed that we didn't catch Mitch there but so grateful for Kyle and Will and all the other guys who took care of us and led the training. The no gi here is legit and we had an hour and a half of great rolls and coaching. We also got some of the new Smashin Greens and of course a couple of the Violent Hippie Shirts. When in Rome. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great experience. If you're in the Chesapeake, VA / Virginia Beach area or anywhere close, do yourself a favor and stop in for some rolls and get you some of those new delicious Smashin Greens.

    Highly recommended for anyone. Great membership price for the amount of training you get. If you can make it to the noon classes, it's essentially a VIP class. I recommend this gym to anyone who is new to the martial art.

    I love violent hippie! I'm grateful to have crossed paths with Mitch and Will and the squad! Some great technical training, and coaches that care about the athletes. From hobbyists, to professional athletes violent hippie is the place to be! But only is this a comprehensive martial arts gym, but you also have access to weights, sauna and cold plunge! If you're in the area stop by!
