  Today I was happy to receive a lesson from coach Bill Grinnell.He has not only high level of professionalism, but also deep spiritual knowledge. Incredible atmosphere charges our training with special energy. Thank you coach Bill Grinnell for great experience. This place definitely became my second home. I highly recommend that gym !

  I have been attending classes at Tyson's BJJ for over a year and a half. Bill's mastery of the art and attention to the small details of technique make all the diference. Just as importantly, the men and women who attend this school are a solid group of people who keep me constantly challenged. I highly recommend this place.   I have been training at TysonsBJJ for a few months now and I absolutely love it. Everyone is so friendly and Coach Bill is thorough on instructing how and why you should perform moves certain ways. As a female I feel it is extremely important to have a plan, if you ever need to protect yourself. This class has made me aware of my body position and my opponents body so I can handle rolling with a larger person. If I ever need to protect myself from an attacker I now have a plan and the odds of me getting away have increased exponentially. Thank you Coach Bill!

  Excellent instruction and fun learning environment. Coach Bill is knowledgeable on multiple types of self defense techniques and works with everyone to improve their technique. The gym is clean; co-located with Crossfit Tysons Corner and has showers, changing rooms, and plenty of mat space. BJJ here caters to people of all skill levels.
