I started training at ShadowHouse Jiu-Jitsu roughly 7 years ago, and it's one of best decisions I ever made. In that time many have come and gone, all were and are welcomed. You are taught as long as you remain respectful, safe, and teachable. I was welcomed in and molded from a nerdy engineer white belt to now brown belt. Bruce is a wealth of knowledge in regards to all things martial/self-defense. If you’re looking for an intense sport, learn self-defense, or just get one heck of a work out, then this is the place for you.

I've spent a long time (20 years or so) training at a lot of different places. And I still haven't found a place better than this. Any hate that has been thrown in this direction is purely out of spite. These are some of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. But even besides that when it comes to pure skill this place beats every other place I have been. If you give it a shot I can promise you you will not be disappointed.

Shadowhouse Jiu-Jitsu is a melting pot of individuals with one main goal to learn submission wrestling. I started training at Shadowhouse about 17 years ago. Since this time I’ve never witnessed any discrimination or racism only dedication to teaching the art of Jiu-jitsu. The instructor Bruce Weiler is one of the premier instructors in North West Indiana.

Shadowhouse Jiu-Jitsu is a great place to learn grappling. Bruce is a 5 th degree black under Bitta Lima a world renowned Corral belt. Only thing you’re judged on is your work ethic. No place for weak minded wanna be influencers trying to find clout because nobody watches her dumb workout videos.
