Excellent place to train, get fit, and achieve your martial arts goals. SBG has a little bit of everything (BJJ, Muay Thai, Fight Fit, Boxing, Judo, and even a Cardio Bag Class). This is definitely a family friendly place with a great kids program as well. One of my favorite things about the gym is when I first started training there they have a “Foundation” classes which are only for beginners. No fear of being pummeled by an elite grappler or fighter. Pair that which some Strength and Conditioning classes you will have a blast, gain strength, and become the martial artist that you want to be. Coaches are well rounded with vast amount of experience. They care about their craft and developing students to become the person they strive to be.
Posted 1 year agoI have been training at SBG Idaho since 2017. The owner, coaches and staff are passionate about what they do and masters in their art. I love the atmosphere and community. What I like most of all is that I am having fun and see growth in my skill. Whatever your flavor, it’s happening here. Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, and Fight Fit for all ages. Bottom line I love it and you can go wrong training at SBG!
Posted 1 year agoI've been going to different combat and fighting gyms for about 20 years and this one is a stand out! Great gym for families; both my boys (9 and 6) have been to the gym and enjoyed their classes. There are several class times and different instructors all with different teaching styles. Amazing culture where people are trying to come together and no ego at this gym (I've been to gyms with ego and I didn't care for it). You should definitely come do some classes - DON'T WAIT! life is short - do it!
Posted 1 year agoMy whole family trains Bjj at SBG (except the baby) and we love this place! The coaches are amazing and everyone is very inviting and friendly. Can’t say enough about the culture! There are multiple classes a day so it’s easy to get your training in, even with kids!
Posted 1 year agoHad the most incredible past year training Jiu jitsu here. Instructors are awesome and really helped elevate my skills. Good variety of partners to roll with whether you want a chill flow roll or to train for competition. Would reccomend this to anyone looking for the premier combat sports gym in Boise.
