I took a Women’s defense class through Clark County that Rival Jiu-Jitsu held. It was awesome! Justin and Kelly did a wonderful job instructing the class. I would definitely recommend Rival Jiu-Jitsu.

Rival jiu jitsu is a great gym to train at, classes are informative and technique is good and clean but also a good place to hang out at. Classes are never dry and boring the atmosphere always feels like it’s a bunch of family together learning seeing who can get the edge on eachother in a fun way. Good gym, good people and cheap prices definitely worth a stop by to check it out.

Rival Jiu-Jitsu is awesome. Every class I’m learning something different. Jason teaches extremely well and you get a good workout while learning how to defend yourself. Really can’t beat it!

Rival has experienced instructors and a broad student base from beginners to professionals. Classes are not only fun but also push you to be a better person and practitioner. Whether you are looking for cardio, character development, social groups or self defense this is the school for you. Family and kid friendly as well. Don’t waste your time with another school in the area, this is the best!

I have no Jiu-Jitsu history and I’ve recently started the nogi class here. I’ve learned so much in the couple of months I’ve been attending. Great teachers and a great group of men and women that attend!

Absolutely amazing! Started about 2 months ago with my daughter in the family class and it’s been the best time. Justin is an amazing instructor, does a great job of making it fun for kids and explaining things in a way that’s easy for them to understand. He will also explain more of the technical aspects of things to the adults. The environment at the gym is super welcoming, everyone has been friendly and helpful. You can walk in your first time and immediately feel like part of the group which was awesome being my first time in any kind of martial art. Great price and many classes available, I couldn’t recommend Rival any more! It quickly became my daughter and my favorite part of the week

Love Rival, great chill - jitsu atmosphere + Justin is a great coach. I hadn't dropped by for a while, till today, and there's more mat space now, than before, I see this gym growing and needing a larger building in the not so far future. So, if you're considering gyms, definitely stop by, meet everyone, and get some rolls in 🤙

Excellent instruction and a great atmosphere for learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Adult and kids classes for both gi and no gi training. Easily the best martial arts facility in the Springfield area.

This is a great class that has a mixture of beginners and experienced students (all ages) which allows the opportunity to learn and practice. The coach, Justin, is fun to work with. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to work with you and make sure you are grasping the concepts.

Great experience!! I attended the Saturday No gi class as a walk in. Very reasonable walk-in class price. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Justin did a great job instructing the class. I will definitely be back!

Man, I really enjoy this gym. Such a great atmosphere and man the quality of instruction is top notch!!! Coach Nawman is a fantastic instructor and is always digging to improve his knowledge as well.
