I find the staff very friendly and helpful the pool is a great size and it is very clean in the changing area I have recomend you to my friends 👍😀
Very amazing place
Posted 1 month agoIt's a very complete place for sports, with a very welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to take care of your health.
One of the best all round facilities I have trained at, The gym equipment is spot on, easy to book in and really love how friendly all the staff are, I signed up to the ultimate to give access to swim also, it's clean and well organised. I like having the 2hrs free parking too, thats a huge win in Portsmouth! Thanks Team! Highly recommend 👌
I’ve been training at Ravlin Gym and have had a fantastic experience. From day one, everyone has been friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to work out. The equipment is always clean and well looked after, and there’s everything I need for my training. The staff and trainers are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about helping you reach your goals. It’s a motivating environment with a great community feel, and I always enjoy coming here. I highly recommend Ravlin Gym to anyone looking for a supportive and professional gym.
Good pool with plenty of availability for lane swimming. However, the changing areas are not kept clean enough. The toilets are often dirty and out of paper, lockers are always broken, something is always out of order. I wish they’d kept the new facilities up together and feeling fresh.
Wonderful facilities to experience and friendly staff. Highly recommended! This was my review two years ago. However, after being the member for more than 3 years. I can’t give a positive review anymore. I wanted to freeze my annual membership for one month holiday. Then I was told they can’t do this for a fixed term membership because they have given you two months for the compensation of holiday. I still could freeze my membership last year but the rule changed this year, I can’t anymore. Then showers in swimming areas keep having unstable temperature water which is very irritating, but they haven’t been fixed so far. Also, you can see mod in shower rooms which is disgusting. Overall, the service is poor and they only want to make money from us and provide as minimum service as possible. Very disappointing as a long-term member.
Don’t even think about climbing at this centre if you have any sort of experience or want to get better. Whoever set these climbs believe no one with any sort of intelligence or climbing ability is worth setting for (or they haven’t got the training to make a decent set). It is the smallest climbing gym I’ve ever been to, insanely cramped. And still they only change the climbs once a month. You can easily do every climb in an hour. And to even start you have to do a 30 minute induction unlike any other climbing gym ever (and yes you have to pay for it). And the sessions aren’t made cheaper to adhere to its terrible facilities. They charge the same as any high quality gym out there. And no you can’t just climb when you want, you have to book a slot, and good luck with that. They’re open at most 4 days out of the week with minimal time slots, that sell out in a matter of minutes. And one of these slots are for women only. Worst climbing gym I’ve ever been too and it’s not even close. I travel around the UK to climb and this genuinely is the WORST climbing gym in the country. Have fun!
