  I initially desired to leave Portsmouth shortly after my arrival. However, now that the opportunity to leave has presented itself, I find that my perspective has shifted. I am no longer inclined to leave Portsmouth due to the strong bonds I have formed with Kamon and the team, along with the exceptional quality of jiu jitsu that is available here.

  Been training here for 2 and a half years now and its safe to say I would never switch, this is more then a team its a family. The technique is effective, realistic and also allows space for creativity. great value for money and great group of people. You get your first week free which is great for new people and you are always welcome in the club.

  From the 8 different schools in 4 different countries where I have trained, I can say without a doubt that Kamon BJJ has been the most enjoyable place for me to train. Kevin Chan is an amazing instructor, the rolling partners are great, and the atmosphere is fun. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Kevin Chan is an inspirational teacher, approachable, dedicated and with a depth of knowledge and breadth of experience that firmly places him at the top of his game and very much sought after as an expert in his field. I have trained under Kevin Chans instructorship both privately and in classes for many years and recommend Kamon without hesitation.

  Practical, effective, great value for money and down to earth. This school is run by world class master of Wing Chun, Sifu Kevin Chan. As a practitioner of several disciplines, I had the distinct pleasure of training under this great teacher, and now call it my main style. Master Chan, despite his status, is a very humble and friendly instructor. Welcoming to beginners and like a father to his senior students. Try it!!
