I spent almost two years training at Pangea during my time in Denver and I can’t rate it high enough. If you’re new to Bjj or just looking for a change in atmosphere this is the place to train. Izzy the head coach is such a nice guy and genuinely wants to see you elevate your game. Even when I told him I was moving for work, the first thing he did was give me recommendations on places to train at in my new city which meant a lot to me. Everyone here is very respectful and is happy to meet you at your level during training no matter your age or skill level. If you want fun relaxed classes with hard rolls check out Pangea.

My 10 year old son started the kids class at Pangea about a month and a half ago. Not only is he having fun and making friends, his confidence and self esteem has sky rocketed all while learning the art of jiu jitsu. I love watching Coach Iz and his team teach. Their passion for jiu jitsu is contagious and their knowledge and experience is priceless. They are always there giving 100% to motivate and guide their students in a safe, controlled environment. This close community welcomes anyone from all walks of life and everyone is treated with with dignity and respect. The other adults that train are always willing to help each other and the kiddos when needed. This gym has it all. Pangea is now one of my favorite places to go either for class or open mat to watch my son train. Come check it out!

From someone coming from big well known reputable schools to here it’s a big difference in terms of environment and how they treat you. Coach Ismael treats you like a student and is constantly trying to help you get better and push you up. The other gyms I come from I won’t name any names but they treat you like a dollar sign as opposed to a student. Here at Pangea you are a student and if you’re trying to compete this is the school to come train at not only will you be pushed but you will excel here!!!

Starting training at Pangea has been a transformative experience for my family and myself. Over the past six months, my three sons and I have been training at Pangea and we couldn't be more satisfied with our decision to switch from another local gym. I wish I had found Pangea sooner in my BJJ journey. One of the standout features of Pangea is its intimate class sizes, which ensure a low instructor-to-student ratio. This structure guarantees personalized attention, allowing you to progress rapidly in your BJJ journey. It's commonplace to have multiple black and brown belt instructors present during training and open mats, offering invaluable advice and fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Head instructor Izzy, along with his team, exude a passion for Jiu-Jitsu that is both inspiring and contagious. Their genuine care for each student's success, regardless of skill level, sets Pangea apart from larger impersonal franchise gyms. Izzy's open-door policy encourages cross-training and welcomes practitioners from other academies, a rarity in the BJJ community. This inclusive approach eliminates any semblance of a cult mentality, promoting a refreshing and open-minded training environment for everyone. My sons have thrived in Pangea's kids' classes, achieving more in six months than they would have at our previous gym. The instructors tailor their teaching methods to support each child's goals, whether they're aiming for competition success, skill development, or simply seeking a fun new way to improve themselves and make friends. The Pangea community is a composed of individuals from diverse backgrounds, all unified by a shared passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This diversity enriches the training experience and reflects Izzy's commitment to fostering not just a top-tier martial arts school, but a community built on inclusion and excellence. I would highly recommend anyone considering starting their BJJ journey or looking to change gyms to check out Pangea. I attended more than 5 other gyms before choosing Pangea as my home. They are a growing presence in the BJJ community with an intangible quality that you can feel. There is something special about Pangea.

I absolutely love this Jiu Jitsu studio for my 10 year old son. It feels like a family and all the instructors, especially Ismael, love and treat the young students with a lot of personal attention, guidance, direction, structure, and mastery. The price is right and I really experience a high-quality professionalism. Would recommend to anyone.
