    I can’t say enough good things about this place! From day one, the coaches were welcoming, knowledgeable, and patient. The training environment is safe but still pushes you to grow, whether you’re brand new or have years of experience. The community here is amazing — everyone is respectful, encouraging, and genuinely wants to see each other improve. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a great vibe. If you’re looking to learn jiu-jitsu in Lakewood, this is the spot!

    Please give this place a try! The instructors are super friendly and professional. They are all attentive and knowledgeable about what they teach us. I usually feel intimidated when trying new bjj places but everyone has been welcoming since I started. What tops it off is their humor. What better place to go to than a place where you can train, grow, and have a good laugh while you’re at it.

    I’ve been to a few gyms, and Imperial Jiujitsu and Kickboxing really stands out. The coaches are approachable, know their stuff, and actually take the time to help you improve. The people training here are friendly and focused, which makes the vibe super motivating. It’s a great spot whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up your skills. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for solid training.

    A friend recommended Imperial Jiujitsu and Kickboxing to me, and I’m so glad I took her advice. From the moment I walked in, the coaches and members were incredibly welcoming and professional. The instructors are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but they also take the time to ensure you’re learning proper technique, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for serious training. What really stands out, though, is the positive and respectful atmosphere. You feel like part of a community here, not just another face in the gym. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn self-defense, or take your jiujitsu or kickboxing to the next level, Imperial is the place to be. Highly recommend!

    What a great place to train at or catch an open mat. Super cool pit area that you can utilize for you pit wall game or you can smash some bags too! Highly recommend coming by to check out!

    I loved training at Imperial! I brought my friends to try out bjj and Muay Thai. Duc and the rest of the coaches could not have been more welcoming and attentive. I felt like part of a family here even though we had only gone to a few classes. I highly recommend anyone interested to do a week trial of classes (love that they have judo!)
