Great grappling academy love it here . Sometimes moving to a new gym can be quite daunting but everyone here was very welcoming and made me feel as if I've been there forever. Great coaches and the same can be said for the rest of the team 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Posted 1 year agoI joined Nails a few months ago and am loving the atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and has made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The facilities are modern and always clean, especially the toilets and mats. They often have high level guest instructors doing a class/seminar. Monthly membership is best price around and due to the links with Tatami you’ll often get great discounts on clothing or be first to hear about events. Coaches are happy to answer any question regarding technique or troubleshooting during and after class.
Posted 3 years agoAmazing gym, with great facilities and great bunch of people training there. Been completely addicted to BJJ ever since attending their fundamentals course. Coaches are the best around and always extremely helpful in every session. Can’t recommend them enough.
Posted 3 years agoBeen at nails since February 23, I was apprehensive about starting as a 50 year old, I shouldn’t have been. Excellent coaches and all the students are welcoming and helpful. Excellent atmosphere there too, which makes it even better!
Posted 3 years agoI completed the beginner course at Nails with zero experience in Jiu Jitsu, or any other sport. When I started, I didn't know anyone else there, but I tried it as a promise to myself. Three months in and I feel stronger, I feel fitter, I have more control over my body, I've become comfortable in uncomfortable situations, I've made new friends and I feel a part of a bigger community of supportive people. All this has come at the price of a few bumps and bruises but it's more than worth it.
